Visited the DT today at 6520 Route 22 Delmont Pa. I left a PNC envelope on the counter when checking out with 250.00 in it. I called the store to see if the cashier (crystal) found it and was told no one turned it in. I know there are cameras in the store, I have filed a police report and hope to obtain video of the person who took it.

Up until a few months ago, I would have rated them 5*s, but now it's one because zero isn't an option. A year ago they raised their price to $1.25 per item & a few cheaper things from $1.00. That was fine & I had no complaint with that in late '22 or early '23. So a year later they buy a similar company, Family Dollar, which I have never ever been inside one, but understood that their price on an item could be anything. So now with the new combined company, the former Dollar Tree store has raised prices on items that they used to sell for $1.25, not just new items that came from the old Family Dollar. For example, their tall, thin 1.25L bottles of Coke/Pepsi recently jumped to $1.75 -- a 40% increase. Those now cost more there than at the full-service supermarket in the same shopping plaza. So they used this merger to raise all their prices. I'll live without them.

Went to the DT at 4335 So. Tamiami in Venice. Walked up to the cashier with mylar balloons. Lady with long greasy dirty hair. Snarky, didn't smile. Motioned me to move up. Told me to move balloons towards her. "Can't read them clear over there." Didn't smile the whole time. Don't remember a "thank you." Won't be back!

Because there is no mfg. listed on box I am commenting here. Bought a roll of silver aluminum foil @ Dollar Tree & getting 1st sheet out was an exercise in frustration. One end of box tore, foil fastened tightly in 4 places making it a challenge to start the roll, cutting edge came off edge of box, 1st sheet was ripped & jagged. Not consumer friendly.

The cashier who took my order today was extremely rude! I had a gift bag in my order, and she said loudly to the other cashier that the gift bags were already messed up since someone had fixed them that morning. I don’t appreciate her insinuating it was me! It was extremely rude and unprofessional!

I work for them, I’ve working for them for almost 5years, it sucks. There’s only 2 employees there each shift. Just about the lowest paying job in town. My first store manager almost died from all the stress corporate put her though. Then they terminated her shortly after she came back after months of physical therapy, because she was still partially paralyzed and couldn’t do as much as she used to. In order to move up in the store and become a manager you have to fill out another application. I filled out one month ago and still haven’t heard from them. My schedule is all over the place for hours. I get chowed out for stuff I didn’t do. We’ve gone through like 10 managers in the time I’ve been there alone, that’s not even including all the cashiers that left. The place sucks. Not to mention the price rises in some of the stuff. At thin point you’d be better off going to dollar general or Walmart, it’s ridiculous!
