I have found the service very easy to use and more importantly have found good hosts for my canine pal who can be a challenge because of some separation anxiety. I would definitely recommend it.

Our dog was in the care of a sitter. Within 24 hours of picking him up, he was in surgery, where they cut out a skin eating bacteria on his rump. The vet said it could have been a variety of things - spider bite, bit by another dog, etc. Because our dog suffers from allergies, DogVacay said "oh, that's a preexisting condition" and since the vet can't say for sure what it is, we won't cover the medical bills. So, we're nearly $5,000 in the red, however, our dog had no infection when we dropped him off 5 days earlier.

DogVacay has been so easy to use. I use it to send my dog to daycare once or twice a week to release some of her energy. I was able to find plenty of available hosts and pick one that fit both my budget and my large, energetic dog's needs. I highly recommend!

Our English Setter puppy had 3 wonderful nights at Megan and Ben's home where she played hard with the other dogs and received lots of loving care:) We are ALWAYS pleased to see how happy she is and how much she LOVES being there.

We spread the word to all dog lovers that there is a place for your four legged family member. We are retired but didn't want to bother someone to watch our baby and wouldn't have her caged while we vacationed. Now she has a Disneyland kinda adventure every time we to leave her.

We did not like how our dog reacted to her kennel after the first two lodgings. My wife found the alternative: DogVacay. We used the "Meet and Greet" and found a couple of hosts we did not like. And a couple of hosts we (and our dog) love! Both accept no more than 4 dogs. It is so much nicer to leave your family member with another family she loves! I tout DogVacay every chance I get.

You guys have been so helpful in searching people that are skilled and willing to help with taking care of dogs. We have had such a great experience. The platform is very easy to use, organized and the calendars and pictures that people post are helpful. The reviews help as well.
