DogVacay has been a very good company to deal with. The only thing I'd like to recommend to them is that they have later hours with their staff for my support. They have the backup temporaries that answer most questions, but I'd like the real deal a little more accessible. Otherwise, I have had no problems with them.

Jackie and Paul are like the aunt and uncle for your little furry family member. Cinni is not a very social dog, but she immediately went right up to Jackie and Paul and seemed like she was right at home. I am ecstatic that now I can leave her with someone and feel totally confident that she is in good hands AND happy.

It's the best service that's ever happened in this area and to find a host as special as ours, is a dream come true :) It's like having a second mom for Rhodes as she loves the dogs she cares for as if they were her own! They have fun, get exercise, celebrate birthdays and are worn out and ready to coze when back home! What more could you ask for than a very happy, content and tired pup at the end of the day!

Excellent experience locating and scheduling great sitters for my dog. The number of choices you have may vary depending on your location. Only two minor annoyances: 1) DogVacay charges your credit card immediately when you make a reservation - even if it's many weeks in advance (which you have to do for popular hosts); 2) DogVacay is always nagging you to review something. Overall a really good service, for which you'll pay "up front".

Hi Frank, Thank you for your review! We are so glad you were able to find some great sitters for your pup, but I am sorry to hear your frustrations regarding the payment process. Please understand, we charge your card at the time the Reservation is accepted to essentially hold a spot in the Host's home. However we do not process the payment to the Host until after the Vacay to ensure it has been successfully completed. This is done to ensure a smooth billing and payout process for both parties. The funds are held in escrow so if there are any date changes or cancellations that need to be made we can always process partial or full refunds as needed and set forth by your Host's cancellation policy. We believe in doing so, we protect our Hosts to ensure payment, and protect our Guests to allow for full refunds should the service not be rendered, or be rendered unsuccessfully. I have had nothing but an excellent experience with the site every time I use it, and I use it frequently. Between having to travel overnight for work, as well as vacations, etc. I use my host at least 2 times a month. The reservation requests or questions I send get sent immediately to my host, and billing is always completely accurate. I've even had a few cancellations I've made, and my refunds have processed promptly. The site is SOOOO easy to use. Keep up the terriffic work!
