I was able to find a good, reliable sitter for an entire weekend for my puppy. No hidden fees, no charge to find the sitter, message the sitter, or connect with the sitter. The site also allows direct messaging between you and the sitter, so during the weekend, the sitter was able to post pics of my puppy and everything. It is really a great site, no complaints.

We went on vacation in March and had a high level of stress trying to figure out what to do with our dogs. They're our babies. We came across this service and were able to find someone in the area where we were vacationing! So, we were able to go see them and check on them! Our care provider loved our dogs like they were her own. They weren't put in kennels and ignored. They were walked, and loved, and taken very good care of. This service helped us to be able to relax and enjoy our vacation, and put our minds at ease. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Great customer service

I knew at the meet & greet that Cindy via Dog Vacay would take good care of my newly adopted little dog. Cindy even exceeded my already high expectations, is warm, friendly, experienced and has a big heart and love for all animals. I, and more importantly, my sweet but scared little dog, couldn't have been happier with the experience.

We were going a vacation with our dog and needed doggy daycare. It was easy to find a sitter in the area we needed. After reviewing several choices we found a perfect fit for our needs. A great loving dog family that took great care of Ginny for the day.

Finding a dog sitter that is available when we need them is a lot more work than it should be. I've wasted a lot of time contacting sitters that are not available. In every case they are shown as available on the website. This is probably problem with the sitters not updating their status. Maybe it's hard for a sitter to keep their status up to date or maybe they are all lazy. It makes no difference to me. It makes it less likely that I will use the site in the future since it's so much work for so little return. I had the same problem with Rover.com. I contacted 10 to 12 available sitters last time and only found 2 that were actually available. On the plus side we have found 2 sitters that we know we can trust but of course one of them was not available the last time we contacted her even though it looked like they were available on the website.
