Simple and AWESOME That pretty much sums up my experience with DogVacay and my host Ashley S. in Oak Grove, Minnesota. I put both through the paces, cancel days on the front of my reservation, possibly add them on the back of my reservation. One day into my vacation I get a message, your dog is in heat. All that and the only thing I heard was, no problem! Communication is clean and straight up. Communication between host and myself was outstanding. Recommend highly.

DogVacay is a terrific option from traditional boarding. Leaving your dog with a DogVacay host assures your pet of receiving personalized attention. The hosts we have used have all been outstanding pet lovers and we will continue to use DogVacay in the future.

I did not want my fur baby in a kennel or cage. Just by chance I found DogVacy on the internet and I am sold!! The family who cared for my pet were absolutely wonderful. Mike was an awesome host from dogvaca! He and his wife showed my 6 month old pit, Magnus a refreshing amount of hospitality. They went out of their way to make sure he felt comfortable and at ease. We had a meet and greet first which I loved. He gave me an opportunity to take my time to make sure my little guy felt safe and at ease with his dogs. He was even willing to keep his dog in a closed room throughout the whole entire overnight stay of my pup's time there. Its common for dogs to act a certain way when more stressors are present...so just as I suspected...when I left....Mike was able to get the dogs to intereact slowly without a leash from day 1 up until being inseparable during pick up time! He was amazing! His pitbul Rojo was very kind and playful with my baby pit. And I loved the huge fenced yard space they had to run around. They even have a dog bed for them to sleep on right next to their bed. It was also very sweet of them to let him go up on their bed for cuddle time. Mike and his family went above and beyond to have Magnus feel right at home and to keep me at ease with plenty of picture and text updates! Will definitely have him doggy sit again! Awesome family..awesome home awesome environment!
