First I would like to say that DogVacay is the best decision I have made for hiring a sitter for my puppy. Next my first sitter canceled, And I complained, and was helped in finding a new one at the last minute. I do recommend for this company to mandate sitter updates. Together we contacted about 15ish sitters and most of their calendars said they were available and all but 1 said they weren't available. Please do something like mandatory sitter updates weekly or bi weekly.

DogVacay.com is simply wonderful, easy to find dog boarding places and dog sitters, when you have to go out of town. So far, in my experience, everyone who took care my dog, were truly dog lovers and cares for dogs. I am happy to be part of this community.

DogVacay is a fantastic service. It's genius and such a great way for us to know our pup is in good hands. Their customer service is awesome as well. We were having trouble getting a response from a potential host and their customer service team responded with a number of solutions, and additionally sent a follow-up a few days later with more ideas. Just great.
