It is comforting to know that Leonardo is lovingly taken care of in a home while I am away.

I originally liked DogVacay and even used it 3 times. But then my pet came home with fleas, something that has never happened using a regular boarder. When I complained about it, I got a generic form letter email stating that this is something DogVacay isn't responsible for and there's nothing to be done. As much as I wanted to continue using and recommending DogVacay, I feel like my pet is in better care at the boarder.

Will definitely use this service again and again!

DogVacay enables you to place your dog in a homely environment while necessary. I highly recommend introductory visits to be sure everybody is comfortable with each other and the environment. Daily updates and pictures are most appreciated.

I've been using DogVacay for over 3 years and have had stellar experiences each time. I've been able to find dog-sitters who live very close to me, who are highly experienced with dogs, and who adore my pup. I love that my dog stays in a home, not a kennel. She gets daily walks and lots of attention, and I get daily photos and updates while we're travelling. Booking and paying is a breeze, and although I've never used it, I feel more secure knowing there is insurance in case anything happens. Any time I've needed to contact either DogVacay or my dogsitters, I've had a reply very quickly. And I love that you can do a "meet and greet" with potential dog-sitters so you can find out if it's a fit. DogVacay is the best!

Rita Bulger has hosted my elderly dog a couple of times and each experience has been wonderful. She is kind, caring, and attentive to my dog's needs. I highly recommend her services.

My dog had a great time and I have no doubt my first dogvacay provided did their best job. The problem was a couple days later my dog had the worst diarrhea ever for 4 days. She had all her typical kennel shots but I don't think the provided checked the dogs he was looking after or his own. May not use this again unless they can prove that all the dogs have their kennel shots.

it's such a great feeling to leave your pet home with someone who can love them and entertain them while you're away and can't bring them with you. I will never use a kennel again. This was so great for our siberian husky
