The website was very easy. Yet I still made a mistake (my fault only!) and I needed to contact customer service. That experience was better than I had hoped for. I was very impressed. The pet sitter was fantastic and I really don't think my dog noticed that I was gone for 24 hours. I will definitely use DogVacay again.

So far, our experience with dog vacay has been very positive. Our pup has had a great host, and we booked again through them. Additionally, we've communicated with other hosts, and while they're not always available to host when we need them, they've been very pleasant and it's been a seamless conversation. We live in the NYC metro area, and most people located close to us have been great, but we found that the further out in Northern NJ we got (in the hopes that our pup would have more outside space when we leave for extended period of times) the hosts got a bit flakey. One we had all but submitted the request, when we got cancelled on the meet and greet 4 hours prior, as well as being told that they couldn't watch Bailey 10 days later. We were able to secure another hosts, and we understand situations arise, but I've noted some hosts are certainly better than others at communicating and sticking to their schedules. Thank you so much for an excellent alternative to kennels for our pup!!

This is an amazing site for furbabies! we don't like to put our dog in a kennel because it is hard to think of him sleeping alone at night. Dog Vacay provides you the opportunity to pick suitable hosts that are similar to yourself to ensure your pouch is treated well and loved while you are away. This is also a great opportunity to have a play date to socialize your dog in a controlled setting.
