I would recommend Dogvacay to anyone. We never worry about our golden retriever, Casey when we are away.

I was referred to DogVacay by a friend after our usual sitter was unavailable. Setting up an account and getting started was easy but it took a while to find a sitter that we meshed with. Most sitters responded quickly to requests/inquiries but a rare few took several days. Some sitters did not have their availability calendars set up so I was asking about a time their calendar said they were free but they were not and it was a waste of both our time. I do wish the service would screen sitters, as some that we met with should not be watching dogs in their home (kids teasing the dog, kids feeding the dog human food from the table, choking hazards on the floor, wire pieces on the ground in the yard). After looking around a bit, we have found the most wonderful sitters who are close by, convenient, flexible, friendly and have welcomed our dog into their pack. We even meet up with out sitters weekly for pack walks now! I have already booked with them 3 times in 2 months. I enjoy the ability to book and pay through the phone app, it's all so simple.

Since it's been a while since my communication, April 2016. Most of the reps. I spoke with were not very helpful. They either didn't have the answers I needed, or spoke too quickly for me. I have been in Customer Service for many years, this experience was not a smooth one.

After my husband and I both retired, we wanted to travel. How do we do that and still feel like we have Emma in a good place? Thru Dog Vacay that's how! Thanks to the 2 wonderful host homes we've used it's been the only way to go for us!

As always, we were absolutely satisfied with the DogVacay experience.

Great experience with Becky S. again. We are planning to have her watch our dog again in September.

I'm a stickler for customer service. And DogVacay, hands down, has some of the best customer service of any company I've worked with. They follow-up quickly when something may be amiss, and I appreciate that. I would highly recommend.
