I've used this service 2x and both times had a good experience with the people that watched my dog. The only thing that was weird is when I called the 1800 number one night. The person that answered and helped me seemed confused. The next day someone much more personable called to follow up on my request from the night before. Otherwise, really liked the website and will definitely use again.

We chose Becky as the vacay sitter because of the breed she has for her own fur kids. My two girls were used to border collies. After meeting Becky at her home-I felt a ton of weights lifted off my shoulders knowing the girls would be in good hands! Becky sent happy pictures of both girls every day we were gone. I think the cutest sight was when we came to them up and when my husband took our sheltie to the car - her vacay buddies looked so sad. I know they both had a delightful visit! Will use Becky again!

The host was excellent. This review is for the company. It was impossible to get the necessary help a few times. One was in regards to the original payment and not knowing what was done using the web site hadn't worked. I wad do to leave in the morning and the people who answered the phone were only there to pass on a message. There was no guarantee I would be helped in time. Secondly I needed to pay the host for extra days and again there wad no way to accomplish that. I phoned with the same response except never heard back. So the host hasn't been paid. My daughter also tried to email. I believe she wad told I didn't have an account. I am also a host and caring for my first dog. I am not impressed by the business and am mot sure I can continue with this type of service or lack of.

Hello Deborah, Thank you for taking the time to detail your experience with DogVacay. First and foremost, we would like to extend our most sincere apologies that you do not feel you were given the exceptional customer service we pride ourselves on. It looks like you were in contact with our after-hours team who try their best to assist all inquiries that come in, but since it is a smaller team, not all inquiries can be met in a timely manner, which is why we have our on-phone team to assist. If you ever have any inquiries about booking or payment, we do have a Support Center on our website that provides a plethora of information that can answer many of your questions if our Customer Care Team is unavailable for any reason. Again, we do apologize for the experience that you had and hope we can support you better in the future! Best Regards, DogVacay

Maggie had an amazing first experience away from home! Debra treats each dog like her own. You won't regret it! Gave me peace of mind while I was away! I will definitely be using her again!!!

DogVacay seems to hire sweet people, and if Kimberly (Darlington, MD) is any indication, then I would recommend this company to anyone,
