We have used DogVacay twice since moving to a new area and not knowing anyone to take care of our dogs. We choose a family that was in the DogVacay network and they were super. Our dogs (2) loved the experience as far as they let know. :) We will continue to use this service in the future. Mike and Becky

No one can anticipate an emergency and by cancelling one day late u only refunded bout 40 percent for not even caring for my dogs. Dont know if i will continue using this service.

Been using DogVacay now for over 2 months. I am very pleased with the ease of their process and the experience with my sitter. Laura L. is very experienced, loves dogs and knows how to handle them. My dog loves going to her home. Will be using DogVacay for a good while.

So happy to have found this service. There are so many options of people, experience levels, care styles, home amenities, etc. I had a great experience with my two high maintenance dogs. They were cared for and came home better behaved than I had left them. And I got peace of mind while attending an out of town family event.

Shannon did a great job and we could enjoy our vacation without worrying about our dog. She gave us updates and was great at communicating with us as to how our dog was doing.

I joined DogVacay in July and on our 1st reservation, we had an amazing dog sitter. She lives 30+ minutes south of our home and we normally travel north when we are out of town. We have tried 3 other sitters: 1) Forgot to change her availability online so when we selected her she remembered she was on National Reserves duty that weekend (I believe you get your schedule for the year but...), 2) I mentioned in my request my dog has a lot of energy, the sitter she had a baby and didn't really take young dogs. I let her know there is a button she can select in her profile that says ages of dogs she is interested in taking, mind you I don't work DogVacay but felt she needed some guidance.. 3) requested a sitter based on her availability and profile which indicated she would reply within 24 hours, that was 96+ hours ago and still no response. I called the DogVacay concierge to ask if I was just having bad luck and he didn't really care, just wanted to decline the request and said to try again.

We were very pleased with the the dog care --- photos during our three day absence were reassuring and a very pleasant initial meeting as Mini was dropped off for the time we spent in the Rockies. No complaints, absolutely none.
