Obtaining and replacing batteries on 1900NCP Field Star unit
After several years of continual use, the batteries on both the transmitter and receiver of the Dogtra 1900 NCP Field Star unit purchased several years ago needed to be recharged after even a short use. I ordered replacement batteries for both from Dogtra, and received them in a very timely manner by mail. Battery replacement involved removing the little screws (NOTE: find a screwdriver that fits before you attempt this), removing the cover, unsticking the battery, removing the battery's wire plug (NOTE: there is a small bump on the male wire plug that must be pushed in to release plug from female receiver). Reverse to install new battery. Now both work great again. Heavy duty unit!! Dog and I have been very pleased with quality!! Nonetheless, instructions to replace batteries would be most helpful for many people!!
