We used to order from ACLens and had no issues, until they were acquired by Discount Contacts. My experience with Discount Contacts has been abysmal, from them not bothering to contact my doctor for the prescription (after I chose that option at checkout, and them not notifying me they didn't until I reached out to them a week later to ask why there were no updates), to giving me wrong information on where in my account to upload the prescription, to shipping that took for-e-ver. I'm 16 days past my order date and my contacts are still bopping around two states away with a delivery date that has long since passed. Absolutely horrible and will be searching for a new supplier.

I would give them a 0 if I could. Spent $200 for a year supply and 8 of the 12 lenses were defective, or already had a tear when I took then out of the package. Customer Service is the worst and almost non existent. It took the tried before I got a reply. When they finally replied they were no help. Don't waste your time or money. Before thevmergw this company and their products were amazing, but not anymore

I have used military contact lens and now discount contacts for over 10 years. This year -recently SEP to OCT 2025- has been the worst experience. I gave them four chances to fix their issue but they still couldn’t figure it out. First they canceled my order because the prescription did not spell out 1-day contacts but my doctor circled it as a choice on the prescription. I wrote two emails asking for help and no response. I called and they said the doctor had to hand write 1-day because the AI did not recognize the circled, printed 1-day. Ok fine we did that then they canceled it again. I called and the customer service could not figure it out. Then i get an email that says the cancellation was because the doctor’s name was not there. I laughed because it is printed in the left bottom corner but I bet the “AI” couldn’t understand that it was a LTC military optometrist. Come on people use the humans. I will be purchasing from 1-800contacts even though they are more expensive- at least they have half a brain.

I've been ordering from discountcontactlenses.com for years and never had issues. My most recent order, I placed July 24th and didn't get any shipping notification for 2 weeks, which was weird since they usually ship out pretty quickly. I emailed their customer service, who took TWO WEEKS to reply to me and said there was an "error" in the order transmission and that they had to cancel my order. They offered a 10% off discount code but I would have to call their customer service line to redeem the coupon. First of all, why was I never notified that my order had been canceled due to a website error? And secondly, I had used a 20% off discount code that they had advertised in a promotional email, so if you made an error, to make it good they should have offered me another 20% discount code, instead of a measly 10%. From other reviews, it looks like other people have been experiencing similar problems. I will probably order from another vendor.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Every time I call regarding an order, they can't find it. And when they do, it takes them a long time (20 minutes). Been trying to get a refund for an order I sent back and it's been impossible to deal with the customer service. They don't understand. Incompetent.

Ordered lenses on the 28th of July. Still not arrived by the 12th of August. Finally managed to speak to someone in customer service who refused to accept that UPS had lost them. Customer service was appalling. I've paid for lenses that I haven't received.

If I could leave a - 10 I would. I have given this company 3 chances to get it right and it was still a horrible experience. The 800 number you call for customer service might as well be nonexisting. I talked to three differt customer service and they all three told me something different. Keeping you on hold back and for the for 42 mins. Also chariging my credit card when I have not recieved my order. I had to do this two times calling my credit card to have a credit. I really could go on on how poor this company handles their customers, but I have wasted enough time of my life on them. Please consider ordering from any other place , but them.

There is a problem with my order. I have called several times to address this. I am put on hold for 30 seconds. Then a message tells me that I can press 1, leave my number, and they will get back in touch with me in a few minutes. It's been over 2 hours. Others have faced worse.
