As you know, you provide a lot of information and request a lot in return. We never felt rushed or afraid to ask questions. Directstartv could use another identifying piece of data other than the social security number. That made my wife a little nervous.

I was specific with my installation request and he flat out lied. My request was simple, 7/28 or not at all. Then I see my confirmation and the install is scheduled for the next day so I call back. Of course I can't get the same department, preferably Ben to share my thoughts to the twirp so I call the 800-531-5000 number and of course they are closed. I'm about to cancel based on lack of principles and poor ethics unless my install is done on 7/28 as originally mandated. Aside from flat out lying to me, Ben also tried to breeze over several important details of my order. Basically mumbling in attempts to deceive me. This is after I tried to place an order on Wed with Jeff but had to schedule a callback (which never took place) on Thursday due to system downtime. The prices for service change by the minute both when you call and by the year within your service. Just set the price and let me buy the amount that I want for that price. If I could order online, then I could do it WHEN I want, and I could just buy WHAT I want, and I wouldn't have to give my address 8 times!!!

Called expecting 4 or 5 day wait blew our minds that it was installed n working just 3 hrs later. Thank you directv we r completely satisfied with everything. The technician was great. Explained everything interacted with my boys who were trying 2 help lol was pleasant n kind. Has a great smile!

I was mislead on what exactly I was getting then greeted with instead of a reasonable tv Internet package a bloated monthly price. This wasn't even the bad part. It was the 2 hours I spent on hold trying to cancel my service. Then instead of an immediate refund I now have to wait 3 to 5 days!! I was transfered around 100 places and met with resistance and attitude and in 1 case I just got hung up on!

I originally had time Warner, I'll tell you right now that was the biggest mistake of my young adult life. It felt as though I was being robbed everytime i paid my bill. Time Warner also has "filler channels", channels that nobody cares for or watch....the brag about their ny1 channel, but its nothing special compared to channel five news or pix 11. So enough was enough, I finally ordered Verizon and I'm happy and my wallet is pacified. Thanks Verizon

I am bad with names, The woman I spoke to was so good she answered all my questions with ease, and made sure I understood everything she said before she moved on to the next question. I made several calls to all of your competitors when I got to you I new it was what I was looking for, very reasonable rates, GREAT channel selection in lower price packages....Nobody else offers that, you usually have to settle and miss out on your favorite shows, and best of all only one BOX.....I called so many friends and family after I placed my order, they can't wait to see how I make out. I feel badly about not getting her name again before I hung up, She made my day. Thank you Rinda Meunier
