Where's the information?
I called DTV to check on pricing/packages/bundles. After 30 minutes of on-line chat and another 20 minutes of phone conversation (required by the DTV rep, Erin), I agreed to look at what was offered but they would only let me do that if I gave them a credit card number and scheduled an installation date. Erin promised me she would send all the information I requested to include monthly rates, and contract rates. What she could not (or would not) do was provide rates for bundles or tell me exactly what local channels I would be getting as part of my bundle but advised me that all that information would be in an email which I was to receive in 15 minutes.....That was 2 hours ago.... So now, I've become a customer with an install date and I don't have any of the information that was promised so I cannot make a quality decision on whether to switch from my cable provider. I believe I was purposely mislead by the DTV rep and now I'm going to have to fight to get my install cancelled.
