This is BY FAR the most expensive and garbage insurance out here. I found a policy for HALF of what they were charging me. I am upset with myself for not exercising due diligence before committing to this mess. My renew is coming next month and I've already purchased from another WAY LESS expensive company

I cancelled my insurance after I paid my premium and instead of a refund like every other insurance company has done they say I owe them money. They also changed my premium after I cancelled from $71 to $105. I used them 5 weeks paid for 2 months because I moved out of state. I should be getting refunded 3 weeks not owing another 6.

They tried to tell me $430 a month for car insurance is normal/the best I'm gonna get. No. The first competitor I talked to was shocked and quoted me for $160. Customer service is a mess. Our first red flag was when my boyfriend signed us up for auto insurance and then they informed us that we fell behind in coverage because he couldn't renew and they couldn't notify me because they didnt have My info only his. My name is on both cars I had to sign. That's weird how did he sign us up in the first place? Oh, their mistake but then they told us now we had to put down a big deposit and couldn't leave their company as we had a lapse in coverage and they jacked up our prices. I don't recommend.

Worst customer service ever from a insurance company doubled the quote I got on line then put me on hold for 15 minutes and then got disconnected called back and a guy was explaining how busy they were and how he was in the phone with his insurance company for 2 hours which had nothing to do with me or my quote asked for a manager and he said there is no manager buyer beware do not do business with this insurance company

Direct used to be the go to insurance for those of us that couldn't afford those other expensive companies. Now, it's a joke. Get a quote. It's amazing. Go to buy and that quote tripled. Because of my credit, which I'm working on. I got the same results months ago but my credit has raised quite a bit but I got the same results. Shame on them for penalizing someone that's trying their best to improve, and have already made a huge improvement

I just want you to know that Direct Auto charges a cancelation fee. I was charged due to canceling one day before my service ended.

Very poor customer service. I have been waiting for a response to my emails for over 3 days with no reply. I attempted to call them and each time I was left on hold for a long time. Finally, I was able to get a hold of someone. Despite my efforts to be polite, the associate was very rude. They even gave me attitude then hung up on me after I politely asked them a question regarding the next steps. It has been almost a month since my accident and I feel as though they have not been able to help me at all.

Do yourself a favor and do not use this company, it’s almost like they inflate your auto insurance for a bonus. First you quoted me 450 to start and 514$ a month, absolutely not!. I went to geico and paid 254$ to start and 234$ a month. I understand a lot of your agents work from home, but you should keep a grip on what your agents are doing. You lost a customer because your agent tried to gouge me, and Geico is now getting my 234$ a month. Luckily this isn’t google reviews or id post the screenshots of the direct auto quote vs geico.
