This company has no soul. I was an hour late and they where unable to charge anything less then double for something that was not my fault at all. Im a disabled narcoleptic and social security randomly cut off my funds with no explanation and I only needed them to wait a day past the canclination fee then I would get paid from my side work. My life was falling apart and direct auto exeled at making things infinitely worse for me. Truly a rotten company and I will be leaving to the next ASAP. The staff has no heart. The customer service sucks. And there lack of compassion boarders on monstourus

They sell garbage. I doubt Laura kealoha is.even real. Just throw it away. ThenBBB has sent many letters to them and they still try to steal your money.

You do not want to go through the direct auto. They put things on your policy that you cannot remove until the policy renewal even though you did not ask for it to be put on your policy and when they send you the docs and Mark did not want. I have to pay for it for a full year.

Horrible, horrible company. I didn’t receive a proof of prior insurance in the mail (which I was unaware was coming in the mail), so they increased my monthly payment from $161.47 to $272.96 without notice. I’m 48 years old with a good driving record; of course I have prior insurance. I went to Direct Auto Insurance to try to save money. They did nothing to rectify the situation or allow me to submit the proof of prior insurance so my payments could return to the original amount of $161.47 (which was my contract payment amount). Nor did they do anything to fix the problem or restore my original payment amount when I reached out about it. They are complete and total crooks!

Horrible place someone from there company stole my credit card info after I made a payment started charging my card and they would not give the police the information of the person they did not help would not give a supervisors number they refused to give me an Human Resources number or corporate so the police had to subpoena them and make a report . Horrible company do not do business with them or beware of theft

ABSOLUTELY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HISTORY. Everyone is rude and they don’t care. I legit had a rep told me since you’re having a hard time understanding! Like whatttttttt?! Who talks to customers like that. And when you ask for a supervisor they just transfer you back Into the Ivr. I’ve never felt so helpless in my entire life

Only rating one star because there is not an option for zero. Told me what they accepted for proof of residency, provided it, then cancelled my policy saying they would not accept it. Also signed me up, without my knowledge for Allstate (parent company) renters insurance. Won’t do business with Allstate for having this company either! Update, cancelled policy and it’s been 21 days with no refund.

I have paid for emergency roadside assistance as an add on for the past 2 years. Tonight, i have the privilege of using it. I have been broke down since 9pm, it is currently 1:20am and they still havent found anyone to tow my car. It is blocking a driveway 2 feet from the highway.
