How can you say that you have a set amount for labor on work being done. Labor rates vary all over the country, and should be taken for what there service labor rates are, and not punish the customer with having to pay out of pocket. You need to adjust your criteria for country wide, not just where ever you are located.

I honestly thought that Diamond warranty would pay more than they did for the repair to my car. I was expecting the deductible, but not half the cost of an $800.00 repair.

Diamond warranty handled my claim and I assume paid it I haven't had a call back from the dealer saying they didn't pay it and even did a courtesy follow up so they are definitely not a fly-by-night warranty company. I would say my only disappointment is that they only cover a portion of the labor. So when you think about this warranty think of it like car insurance in that if your repair bill for your car is going to cost you $3,000 and you have a $500 deductible you have to pay the 500 out of pocket. But this warranty only covers a set of parameters the only cover so much labor per hour and so much for parts and other things you have to make up the rest. whatever they come up with as the total bill if your deductible is 100 with them they're going to knock $100 off because they're going to expect you to pay that hundred but you also have to pay the rest of the bill because the mechanics do not work within the confines of the estimates For instance if your labor shop charges 100 an hour diamond only covers 70 per hour so you have to make up that $30 per hour difference for every hour of labor. But they did come through they did the work that my vehicle needed and in the end it worked out instead of a $2,500 repair bill I really ended up with a $1,200 repair bill.

1)High end cars require OEM replacement parts 2)Most high end cars have tow service estab. 3)Aftermarket parts should be explained prior to purchase or highlighted in brochures. 4) coordinate with dealerships the importance of communicating warranty limitations especially when level of apprehension and fear of repair is major concern.

this company would be good to get for any car or truck. I just think they should add the more common problems( external parts) to there three plans.I know I would have paid a little more to have then included .Do you have a plan that covers bumper to bumper if you do I would be interested to up grade to that plan need to have more things covered.
