We had a short vacation for the Houston/Galveston area. Our stay at Domum de Vence was only 1 night but we enjoyed every minute. The communication was perfect, and our room was adorable and impeccable. The bed was extremely comfortable. It would be an easy walk to the Strand/Harbor area. We would stay here again, and would easily recommend to others.

Greetings, we love hearing that your stay was enjoyable! This 19th century establishment is a witness to Galveston Island's long and storied history. Flooring and deliberately displayed original features complement charm with comfort.

This was a great place to stay. It was very, very clean and close to everywhere we wanted to go. They came in and changed out towels and cleaned while we were shopping. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

This was a pleasant place to stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again. It is a modest house with small comfortable rooms, which seemed to be recently renovated. There is no signage anywhere, nor is there a front desk with anyone to talk to. You get an email the day before with the digital code to unlock the front and room doors and you just let yourself in. If you have any issues, you have to text message them - which we had to do a few times. Jade (not sure if she was an owner, a manager, or service staff) was very friendly and responsive. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The air conditioner and ceiling fan kept the room temperature comfortable. The location of Domum was perfect - a few blocks walk to the Strand and a 3 min Uber ride to the cruise port. The only reason it has 4 stars and not 5 is because of it’s minimalistic character. All in all we had a very positive experience with our 2 night stay.

Greetings, we're always happy for your comments! Code enabled access permits seamless check-in and hassle free check-out. Domum is recently rebuilt and regularly updated, everything is bespoke, from Phylrich bathroom fixtures to Ann Sacks floor tiles. we particularly love the walk in wet room showers with white washed plater walls.

Very tiny room, wished there would have been some water to drink, but cozy for 2 days.. That was our limit.
