Domum de VencéReviews of devencer.com

I thought this was a good value.. and so quaint. Only a few things missing.. another mirror.. so someone could get ready to go out, while the other one showered. We experienced waves of hot and cold.. I am sure that is because it's an old building.. you just do not find charm like that. We will definitely stay there again.. very convenient to everything. We loved it.

Just read careful and know how to get checked in. Over all a nice place

Our stay at Domum de Vencé was convenient to our Galveston cruise. Although the room was small, it met our needs. We enjoyed the Keurig coffee in the commons area before we left. (I only gave 4 stars because it was very difficult to locate after dark, and the path to the front door had no sidewalk and was a little hazardous due to unevenness of the ground due to roots.) ...We would consider this location again!

It was nice enjoyed are stay

The low rating is because of the size. The pictures of the room are very deceptive. We did enjoy the location and the room was very clean. The size of the shower was a joke and no closets space. Not a lot of room for luggage or your belongings.

Nice experience for a couple. It is a small and quaint place close to the Strand. It is good for a one or two night trip or even if you will be out on the town. The bed is a little too soft but overall the experience was really good. I will be coming back if I visit Galveston soon.

Awesome! Will definitely stay again!!!

There is only street parking, the curb was horrible, hard getting our suitcases up. Code was easy to use to get in front door and room. The room we were assigned #2 was tiny! I think our RV is bigger, too small for 2 grown adults with luggage, the pillows were old and flat there is no night stand to put my hubby CPAP machine on we did not see the iron? we checked out 4 hours after we checked in and went to a hotel as we were disappointed as pictures made it look lovely
