Another couple traveled with us for a cruise. The place is similar to a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. The place was just ok to lay your head for the night. Cons: You cannot control the temperature for the air conditioner- we slept with no covers and it was still too warm in the room. There is a ceiling fan, but the ceiling is high so it wasn’t much help. The hot water in the shower ran out in about 10 minutes in both rooms. Pros: Location is close to cruise terminal and easy to find. Great directions and the code for the door worked without any problems.

The room is small. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in it. The face sink could have been bigger. It would have been nice to have facial tissue in it. The smell of the property was not great at all, but supposedly it is what you get when you are in a great location of Galveston Island where the cruise terminals are…

We were very disappointed in the room. It was so small and cramped. I am 6’2” with size 15 shoes and I could not get out of the bed on the wall side. My wife slept on that side and got lots of bruises from the sharp edges on the bed. The cost of the room seemed very high ($150) compared to a Motel 6 ($85). We won’t ever stay here again.

Check in was a bit of a mess, but got resolved somewhat quickly Upon finally getting into our room there were tiny bugs on our bed as well as stains on the blankets and sheets. The air conditioner NEVER worked. So it was miserable inside the room. They did.say they were contacting a handyman but never gave any update. Unit was not working when we left the room this morning

No signage outside. Building looks run down. At first we were reluctant to even go in for fear it was some kind of scam. The room is super small. The bathroom is super small. Half a size pedestal sink with a tiny little mirror. The bed is super small. No large mirror. Main light fixture did not have working light bulbs. Insufficient window treatments. Liked the self check in and out of the hotel. Coffee tasted great. Otherwise way to expensive for what it offers in terms of amenities.

Manager should be there around 3pm. Many customers are moving in then. Many questions needed to be answered. Should pose a phone number there at obvious place for us to call... In addition, there are 2 outside doors. Only the main one on market st works. The side door on 17th st doesn't. If someone like me misses the one on market, has to walk around to the other door with all the luggages. Very inconvenient too... Finally met your manager next morning around 10am. She was working very hard, putting away tea machine stuff, cleaning rooms. Too busy for me to talk with her for more than a few seconds...

The CODE did not work, back up code did not work, called for assistance, wait for them to show up at the property,... she tried new codes , finally gave us a hard key to use. Rooms are so tiny!!!!

Hot water in shower was only hot for a minute or two. Our room (#4) was extremely small and lacked charm. Tiny bathroom sink was similar in size to those found on airplanes. The only storage provided in the room was a coat stand. There was just a single wall hook for a towel in the bathroom. Exterior appearance needs help too. Something to sit on on the front porch would be nicer. The chain link fence across the front yard looks cheap. It feels like we overpaid for this. The hotel didn’t have the same feel as the photos online. It wouldn’t take much to make this charming.
