Great place to stay.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the house and our room. The bed was comfy with beautiful linens. Loved the decor. The ac unit did not cool that well. I should have contacted the owners about it, but did not. Felt secure. We will be back.

I’m not super impressed. The pictures are not even close to what you get. Check in is way late. The bathroom is so small you and even do your make up or use the bathroom in privacy. Over all the bed was ok but please explain the room and what you get clearly to your guest.

As this room is on Booking.com, I am comparing it to other rooms I've stayed in. The positives are: great wifi and TV Netflix provided. Close to the historical area & cruise ship departure area. Nice hot water & communal coffee machine. However, if you don't have a car, the fact that you can't enter before 3.30pm and can't store luggage before check in or after check out is disappointing and very inconvenient, especially if it's raining. The pillows were terrible- thin polyester filling which didn't support head. There were no cushions to support back while watching TV. The pillows were supposed to do that, yet because there was a gap between the wall, used as a bed head and the mattress, the thin pillows could slip through the gap and they didn't support the back. Also, the hairdryer plug was broken, so it was unuseable. There is no refrigerator or microwave either and while the room states it is sound proofed, it is not. Aircon motors cutting in and out, a cat fight & other noises, meant little sleep.

Air conditioning unit was not functioning properly during my one day stay. Support staff were unable to assist with repairing it, and or offering any other viable solutions such as offering a fan. Communication with staff took hours for responses and I finally got a message at three in the morning from the manager that there was nothing that they could do. Edit: I was told they could not do anything because of the “heat waves” in Texas. I also rented two other rooms in this hotel that night that had no issues with air conditioning or keeping the rooms cool. I was simply requesting a courtesy fan, but could not be assisted.

A peace of mind away from home. Wish I didn't have to leave. Love the location. Thank you!!!! I now have a new getaway.

Interior Door is hard to open.

The room did not have a view like it said it did. The room was super tiny. The shower did not have a full door. The sink was extra small. There was worms in the morning after we had showered. The next door was coughing all night. We could hear all them all night when we got there. I wish money could be refunded. It was the worse experience of my life. I do not recommend this place.
