Avoid buy from this website if you don’t have a copy of prescription after the order placed , specially customer from outside USA , you will lose exchange rate even got refund

It’s really disturbing that designer optics makes customers pay for shipping for returned orders and on top of that they charge another handling fee! Never ordering from them again ! Wasted my money trying to support them....I I even called them if they can give me a return label since it was free shipping when I bought my frames and they still said no they couldn’t do anything for me. Very unsatisfied customer

"ready to ship"?!? Beware of glasses they list 'in stock'. When I clicked to purchase it said available, nearly a month later, still no shipment. Now they are saying backordered but cannot provide any update on timeline. I am nervous that they are playing some kind of a scam with inventory. Be careful of what you purchase from Designer Optics.

Designer optics delivered scratched prescription lenses to me and refused to fix it at first saying it would be to costly to mail it back and forth to re-do the lenses and instead would only offer me a 15% refund on the prescription lenses themselves. The scratches looked to me as if it came from during the making and the fitting of the lenses into the frames as they were perfectly oval / circular shaped on both the left and right inner side of the lenses and then oddly very heavy smudged with circular smudges all over to disguise them, which I thought was very odd as I couldn't even polish it away from the moment of taking them out of the glasses case for the first time. Then the second day after very closer inspection and after trying to clean off the stubborn smudges and scratches I can see that the scratches were permanent and wouldn't go away and thats when I emailed the company. I paid for the top of the line quality Crizal Sapphire 360 UV + Trivex lenses that are suppose to be the strongest and most scratch resistant material and the total of just the lenses themselves were $239.89 USD not even including the $340 USD frames and they think 15% refund of just the lenses would resolve this issue ? At this point I don't think they even sold me the actual lenses material I had even paid for as they can be scratched that easily during the making of the lenses. I cannot see through them clearly as the scratches creates a white cast glare in my peripherals every time light catches it and these are supposed to be anti-glare and scratch resistant which they are not, and I emailed them how is 15% refund on the lenses going to resolve this issue ? I need to re-do the lenses completely and their reply was that was the best they can offer me. I then called their phone number and the girl on the phone didn't even care about my concerns and said "things like this happens" in which I said I find that very odd that I paid over $616.12 USD for the glasses all together with the shipping and taxes and the person in the lab couldn't even double check that the end product was not scratched ? let alone polish the lenses before mailing them out ? and she just shrugged that off saying they can NOW offer to pay for the pre-postage mail for me to mail back the glasses to re-do the lenses, but I told her at this point as a consumer I don't trust designer optics let alone have faith that they would fix this correctly as the lenses themselves do not hold up to what I had even ordered and that I would want to get a full refund for just the lenses and get them done in my city at a more professional optical place which she refused. I then told her that I would then just want a full refund all together with them paying for the pre-postage mail also which again she wouldn't allow me to do.

This has been a difficult experience. It is impossible to track my package. Information is needed here then there all with no results

I ordered versace and they were cheap plastic glasses. I then had to pay another 20$ to return them with a signature and then they take another $5 for the return. You only get some money back for them.

I haven’t received my order

I ordered sunglasses on 4 September.. I got a note that they were on backorder and would be a bit longer.. fine, but after several emails they told me it would be until 12 oct. guess what, on 14 oct no news yet.. after checking with them, they told me they are still on back order and couldn't give me any arrival date.. they suggest I'd pick something else that is in stock.. like really? NO I WANT THE GLASSES THAT I BOUGHT.. very sketchy! my advice is that you spend 5 dollars more and get them somewhere else :/
