Faulty glasses, charged a fee to refund
Ordered an expensive pair of sunglasses to Australia. After a long wait (which was expected to be fair), they arrived with 2 major faults, the hinges were rigid and made a horrible cracking sound with even the slightest movement, and the lenses had oily smudges all over them which couldn't be cleaned. I emailed for a refund and they were willing but said that I would have to cover the costs of shipping AND pay them a fee? Why is the customer required to pay for the company's slip up in quality assurance?
