I ordered a Flexon Model 607 frame to replace a tired six year old frame of the exact same model. The sale price plus an introductory discount coupon brought the total to $66 and change. Shipping was free and fast and the frames arrived with a nifty, attractive hard case. I couldn't be more pleased. And a call to Customer Service as a first time buyer was handled with excellence and grace, affirming the frame was brand new, not a demo or refurb. My purchase was motivated by a horrible experience trying to purchase a new frame from a former local optician who declared the Flexon frame had been discontinued and tried selling me an alternative in the $300 range. I then tried another local shop who also wanted $300+ plus for the frame and totally screwed up the order causing me to lose my $150 yearly eyeware insurance benefit for last year. The same outfit wanted $300 to $500 for lenses AFTER my $150 benefit. I'm now planning to get these same progressive lenses for my new frame from a Big Chain Store Optical Department for my cost of $115. No wonder DesignerOptics and other similar eyeglass providers are here to help!
