My daughter went to Great Expression dental office… I spoke to Dentaquest and the dentist office. I asked them if they take my daughter New insurance coverage was pathways, they said yes but they DIDN’T informed about that she will have to pay over $60.00 dollars Out of pocket ( a autistic child without job ) for X Rays .!!! This doctor didn’t do anything to help her with a Molar and gums hurting but sending her to a surgeon which made her appointment 3 times and 3 times got canceled. OUTRAGEOUS and I ended up” healing “ her gums at home auto medicating my daughter. Why DentalQuest didn’t sent us explanations of benefits? She changed from Amerigroup Medicaid to pathways after July 2023 to be under pathways after turning 18 years old…. She didn’t get more than 1 visit in 2023 and 2024 so now … She will have to pay for new x rays because she only “ allows “ 1 x ray every 36 months and they WON’T Accept the x rays from prior visits ??? Deplorable to not be honest and what benefits .??? The great expression only notifies me After 6/7 months by phone and not bills are mailed to Us . Today I stayed over 1 hour over the phone trying to file an appeal and request a court case for my daughter case … the DentalQuest didn’t Answer the phone… I guess they don’t want to assist patients with issues created by their failure to notify and let people understand what they are allowed to have or what is going to be a expensa for people with low or zero incomes.

If I could give no stars I would. I have been trying to make a payment for two days but I am locked out of my online portal and customer support is zero help. They are rude and have no idea how to help you with your problem. I tried to make a payment over the phone but that option is not available either. Between no dentist around me taking this insurance and having to fight to PAY MY BILL this insurance is practically useless.

They were not able to take my call, unless it was to make a payment. Paid for the policy and no card has been delivered to us, they don't answer calls and the website is useless.

THIS COMPANY ISN’T REAL!! I picked it on marketplace coverage . all their in- network are out of date , local dentists say they don’t know why they’re listed as in network. They never answered the phone when I called several times all of January . I switched to anthem for 10 dollars more upon reading other horror stories about dentaquest on Reddit.

I have TennCare DentaQuest and my child has a permanent molar that needs a crown and they're going to deny me and send me two packets of paper that say exactly the same thing not only did you waste paper but you're not helping anybody you're telling me that my child has a baby tooth that needs a crown when in fact it is a permanent tooth and you won't help why do we even have you all I see is a bunch of excuses and all this paperwork here your tooth must have a lot of tooth missing from a cavity or have a lot of damage from being broken and can no longer be fixed with a Feeling it can't be fixed with a feeling that's why we're doing the crown does my child's tooth have to be falling out this is not an adult this is a child we're talking about I'm appalled by your lack of care so far all I see in your brochure or your packet that you sent to me is a bunch of excuses on why you won't help people why do you exist I'll get my child taken care of I don't need your help I hope other people read this review

I have been using this dental insurance for several years.This year I have been disappointed by their service. I was urgently in need of a root canal for my teeth.But they told me that it is not covered by their insurance. I asked for their advice,could not get.

Denied for a procedure that was medically necessary then had to talk to a judge to appeal I never had any issues with any other insurance they are terrible better off going through another insurance these companies are money hungry and trying to keep money in their pockets they don’t care about people’s health I’m reporting them to the BBB

DentaQuest is entirely ineffective. I used their website to find a prosthodontist in March 2024. That was a waste, so I officially asked for help on May 6, 2024, and called every two to three weeks to follow up. They referred me to one individual who was retired and another who was a regular dentist and could not assist me. It's now October 22, 2024, and they still haven't found anyone. They hung up on me twice today. The third person said there is no time limit on how long they can take to find someone to help me and they will notify me when they find someone. They can take as long as they want. They also refused to escalate my call. So frustrating!
