Deadbolt always delivers a great mystery and just when you think you have the puzzles figured out, they surprise you with new ones. If there is something missing from a box, they are quick to make it right. Their customer service is absolutely amazing! I am a fan for life.

Overall we love the games we've received from Deadbolt Mystery Society. Our most recent purchase, The Return of Jack the Ripper, didn't quite live up to our previous purchase, The Fall of the House of Asher. The puzzles were decent enough, although not quite as challenging. But what really stood out was the production quality. House of Asher was very well constructed and printed, but Jack the Ripper was mostly just plain paper print-outs. We were all hoping for a real glimpse into the game world when we saw the cameras in the online puzzle solutions, but sadly there was nothing but more text. But with that said, we do appreciate the creativity and fun these games give us as a family. I will definitely be purchasing more games, but I do hope the production quality is raised.

Overall, DMS is a great company with a fun and engaging mystery games. Great customer service. Great on updating customers on their products. But they've had some problems with their supply chain, so monthly subscriptions and pre-orders can be delayed. They've recently worked to change how they use suppliers to eliminate delays. I'll revisit this review with an update after a few months to tell you how it's going with their shipping times.

My family and I absolutely love these games. I have been collecting as many as possible and currently have 39 Deadbolt Mystery Society games, because they are that good. I have even turned family members on to the games when they were previous HaK fans.
