Still haven’t received the first in our series!

Hey Robin, thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your first package has not arrived. It's on its way and tracking is showing it to be delivered this week. Unfortunately, we had severe vendor delays and Winter Storm Cora wreaked havoc across the country causing lots of delays and shutdowns. We sent out multiple emails updating customers on these delays and we are sorry if the emails somehow missed you. We hope you enjoy solving the mystery once it arrives.

If the boxes are supposed to be monthly boxes, then they should arrive monthly, not at the end of a month. I purchased the 6 month bundle in December for a Christmas gift, the gift is not arriving until January 25th. Even though I wrote to ask where the gift was and was informed they are not sent out until around the 5th of the month. I asked again where the box was and was told due to weather delays it would arrive later. So far, im not impressed with the company. I’ll ask my daughter how she likes the subscription.

Thank you for you feedback. We are sorry your package has not arrived and that you are not impressed with us. That's definitely not what we strive for. We are a game company and want people to have a good time with us. You mentioned "then they should arrive monthly and not at the end of the month" We completely agree! Unfortunately, vendor delays and mother nature wreaked havoc. You purchased a subscription in December and shipments to subscribers are to be shipped within the first full week of the following month. That's how it's supposed to work and how it normally works. Unfortunately, there were many things that we experienced that were completely out of our control. We had vendor delays from the holidays or broken down production machinery. Winter Storm Cora swept across the country and caused so many issues with vendors shutting down, and it shutting us down and also USPS. We are located in Mississippi and severe winter weather is not something our area is equipped for since we get it maybe once or twice a year. Once we received everything from our vendors we got shipments out to subscribers as quickly as we possibly could. We also sent out multiple emails updating our customers on the delays and providing access to free mysteries in the meantime. Our apologies if those emails somehow missed you. We hope your daughter enjoys her mystery once it arrives!

I ordered a mini mystery for a Halloween get together. I placed and payed for my order on 10/17. It was not shipped until 10/ 26 I received it on 10/29. It was meant for use the weekend before it arrived. It was an envelope that had no reason for that long of a delay. I ended up doing it with my family and it was one of the most boring ones I have done to date. Clues and how to come to solutions did not make any sense what so ever. I will not be ordering from the deadbolt society in the future which I’m really sorry about since they offer a lot of games. Very disappointing.

Hey Margy, we are very sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience with our products or company. That's definitely not what we want to hear. You are correct that there were delays with your order. These delays were not due to the item being in an envelope. The delays were due to us receiving content for the product. Once we recognized there was going to be a delay, we updated the information in many different places. Our customer service team would have willingly worked with you on this matter, but we don't see any email correspondence from you about this. If you would still like to discuss this with our team, please reach out to [email protected]

Still waiting for the products to arrive. I’ve now had tree delivery dates. I’m hoping that my order arrives in good shape but it’s too late for me to enjoy it with the house guests q who wanted to play it.

Hi Catherine, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry that everything didn't line up for you exactly like you hoped with your guests. Your tracking information shows that your order was delivered on August 17 to a community mailbox. Our international one-time box orders whip within 5 business days. You placed the order on July 29 (Saturday) and we shipped on August 2 (Wednesday). When going through the purchase process and the shipping charges appear, you should have also seen that International Shipping estimate is (7-15 business days). So, we shipped your package within 3 business days and then it was delivered within 11 business days. Feel free to reach out to us directly at [email protected] if this doesn't line up with the information you see on your end. Again, we are sorry that plans didn't go exactly as you hoped.
