It’s a little hard getting used to the idea. But it’s so nice that my dogs are now eating and not throwing up. They actually look forward to eating their food.

Hi Katherine, thank you so much for sharing this. We know switching to a new feeding approach can take some getting used to, and we really appreciate you giving it a chance. It’s wonderful to hear that your dogs are now eating well, keeping their food down, and actually looking forward to mealtime. Seeing them feel better and enjoy their food is exactly what we hope for.

Perma
My experience after receiving a number of shipments is that there is always some and sometimes many packets of chicken for cats has are defrosted. I don't live near a major city so it takes longer for product to reach me. So if Darwin can do more to prevent meat from defrost it would be much safer.
Response from Darwin's Natural Pet ProductsMar 18, 2026
Hi Perma, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I’m very sorry to hear that some of your recent shipments arrived with thawed chicken packets. That’s not the experience we want for you or your cats. I’ve added additional dry ice to your future orders to help keep everything fully frozen during transit, especially since deliveries take a bit longer to reach your area. This should help prevent any thawing issues moving forward. If you ever receive a product that arrives thawed or not in good condition, please reach out to our Customer Service team at 877-738-6325. We’re always happy to help and will gladly replace any packages that don’t arrive as they should. Thank you again for letting us know.

The quality of the Cat Chicken Premium has deteriorated and deteriorated. The bone pieces have gotten larger, and I have to remove them by hand.
