I. Rented a unit in the fall river lactation for about 5 years.i went in on April 2nd to let them know my unit was empty on April 1 I had asked for some type of refund and was told I wasn't allowed one and i was paid for the whole month of April. 7 days later received something in mail saying storage would be going up in may.glad I went in to speak to someone cause the woman Beth that i spoke to never took my account out of computer and was very disrespectful. THANK U THIS WAS THE FALL RIVER SMART CUBE AND MY UNIT WAS 547.

I've had the worst experience at CS in Capitol Heights, MD due to Dawn poor customer service skills. She's very uncaring and disrespectful. She represents CS poorly.

Cube smart, Brookwood properties & cube smart management on hwy 18 are ridiculous! I currently have a unit there...been there since August. On the day we rented our unit Will told us put a lock on your unit because we ride around looking at units to make sure they have locks, if your unit doesn't have a lock we will put one on there & charge you $20 for it on your next bill. To avoid that I went & purchased 1 from Wal-Mart. A guard safe lock with 2 silver keys. We put this lock on the units door & left. 3 weeks later on a Friday afternoon Q, our daughter & I went to the unit to put birthday decorations up. We weren't there 5 mins & was leaving. We locked the door & walked away but Q stopped to make sure it was locked...we left. On the following Monday while Q was at dialysis he gets a phone call fom Cassandra saying your unit is open & has been opened an entire weekend. Will tried to call you Saturday. I looked back on my phone & seen I had a missed call from their number but no message was left & I didn't receive another call until Cassandra called & said another customer told her the unit was opened....2 DIFFERENT STORIES!! Which was it you knew it Saturday or Monday?? So my unit was opened all weekend & management failed to contact me or even put a lock on my unit. Cassandra said I thought y'all left, I tried closing the door but boxes were in the way & I couldn't close it so I came & called you...really with a unit full & I just paid my bill that Wednesday before all this happened...why would I pay if I'm leaving? I called police & did a report. Cassandra told the police there's no evidence of a lock... There would be black stuff everywhere...ummm not if they used bolt cutters! My 42 inch TV & a few other small items were taken... About $800 worth of stuff... I had boxes missing... Ripped & empty...why would I store a ripped empty box?? If I was trying to get over I'd claimed alot more than what was actually taken!!! Duh!! Now a few weeks ago JPD arrested some men at uhaul on 80 for using bolt cutters to steal out of peoples units!! Now I'm paying insurance for nothing!!! No cameras where the units are only in the exits...why? Oh and while JPD was there doing the report Cassandra said we have an unrented unit with items inside... She said idk why they are there they shouldn't be....REALLY?? What kind of facility are y'all running? Management has no clue who is coming in & out this property!! I thought my things were safe...I rented a climate controlled unit so my stuff wouldn't get damaged in a regular unit & instead my valuable stuff was stolen & they are making it sound like I stole from myself!! Now I'm going futher....I have no money to pay somebody to move my belongings from cubesmart to Uhaul...& have to start a new unit all over! So my belongings are still there... With a cube smart lock but whats of value isn't there anymore...I'm paying insurance for nothing!! If you want your stuff safe go to Uhaul!! Cubemart management Will & Cassandra & Brookwood properties ( Amy, Stephanie & Craig) DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR BELONGINGS! I am taking this futher by getting a lawyer because I work hard for my stuff & I want what belongs to me!

Customer service was ok but they are over priced and when moving out of the unit make sure you move out at the end of the month that you paid for because they will charge you for the entire month even if you only use a couple days even after almost 2 years of storing with them in their over priced units.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! The customer service was outstanding in the beginning because they wanted money, but the company itself over charged me and would not work with me on late payments. I have three children, was going through a messy divorce, and had to move back to Arkansas with my mom for financial help. I paid over $100 I'm the beginning after they said the first month would be free. Then I paid over $300 over the next few months for storage fees and late fees only for Matt (At the EastChase property in fort worth Tx) to tell me that I couldn't make partial payments after I had gotten behind. I called every week to explain my situation hoping that he would work with me after he lied and said he would. First, he told me my property would be auctioned off on June 8th. I called on June 8th to make a payment, but he said they had already auctioned off all of my belongings on June 7th. So now, I'm currently paying a note on furniture that I do not have and hoping that a nearby salvation army possess clothing for me and my three children. This was the worst experience ever, and I will not recommend this storage company to NOBODY!!

They are overpriced and you will save money keeping your stuff at a relative. They added a lien to my stuff after I explained to them I lost my job! Way to kick me when I m down.
