Cubesmart Augusta GA Wrightsboro Road will raise your rates several times a year. So far this year for me totaling $45 increase. Price gaugers. No company realistically raises their rates 20 or $30 at a time but CubeSmart does. Go elsewhere. Unit and service been good, but I can no longer afford their rates. They have a person called the Revinator who looks at accounts constantly and if you have multiple storage units you will definitely get screwed with higher rate increases

I have been buying delinquent storage units in central Florida for several years.and this place in Kissimmee #6177 is one of the worse places to store your stuff. First off the manager has given me disrespect and always miserable to deal with. Needless to say the last time I picked up a unit it took 2 trips and forgot the receipt. I was told to come back with the receipt to get your deposit back. Well I didn't find the receipt and she would not release the money. After 3 weeks I complained about it and finally can drive 120 miles round trip to collect my money. After a heated discussion I thought it was cute that the cube smart manager hoped I get in a deadly car accident =)~ Anyways if you don't mind rats and roaches crawling all over your stuff this is the place to store your trash. I know of 3 buildings that is full of them.

Rented second unit July 5, 2019, previous manager was a great lady who gave consistent, professional service. This is my experience on Jul 5. 1. Arrived at 10AM, signed contract and paid. Online price was $82.70 but was charged $103.00. The agent was unable to correct the price and needed to have billing agent make corrections, promised to take care of it. 2. First unit had a water leak and 2 30' Shaker style oak kitchen cabinets ($800.00 each) developed black mold, the mold had grown into the grain of the wood permanently discoloring the cabinets in the affected areas. Adjacent unit also experienced water/mold damage. 3. Second unit 2 feet from office door, manager closed office at 5PM and said good bye. At 5:02 I realized I had not received the metal plate to secure my unit and called requesting on site agent be contacted. 4 Customer service operator had difficulty comprehending my request, I had to explain 3 times and request supervisor. 5. Onsite agent refused to provide lock and to talk with me. At 5:10 I called back with same request, onsite agent refused to answer phone, I made 2 additional attempts. My unit was left open and unsecured. 6. Left messages for Regional Manager, was told call back would occur within 48 hrs. No call back has occurred after 65 hrs, left message for Divisional VP 7. I have a rash from mold exposure on my neck, arms and torso. 8. The onsite manager made no attempt to contact me or apologize 9 I have been a customer for over 1 year on auto pay via credit card. 10. Cube Smart at 968 Mass Ave in Boston is the WORST storage facility! Do not rent from them. They were shut down last summer for a day or so by the City of Boston because they had homeless people living in storage units which is against the law. Their solution to the problem was changing the hours - without notifying anyone - from 6am-10pm to 9:30am-6pm M-F, 8:30am-5pm on Saturday, and 11am-3pm on Sunday. However, they didn't change the rent. Now you have to sign in to the office and leave your ID - like a license. They also lied about it and said the City made them set these new hours but I take to the City's manager and she said the City had nothing to do with it. The facility has always been dirty and it smells bad, and they have moths which ate up our beautiful oriental rug. We didn't leave before because it's so expensive to move. However, when they raised our rent yet again, that was the final straw - we were paying $440 for a 10x20. We went to another facility and are now paying $220. If we could give them minus 5 stars we would.

I rented 3 temperature controlled units for a year from the Frisco, TX location while I was building a house. When we went to move our belongings, one of the units had developed a crack in the floor, whereupon termites had emerged. The termites infested and ruined many of our belongings including a Sleep Number bed valued at over $1500. The “manager” of course claimed no responsibility or authority to rectify the issue and referred me to the corporate office who then referred me to their insurance carrier. They explained that the “small print” on the back of the contract absolved them from liability from damage by insects, rodents...and so they refused ANY consideration, even after I spent thousands of dollars renting unfit facilities and then incurred thousands in damage that was due solely to their negligence. I may not have had a legal claim but they showed no ethics or sense to “do the right thing”. DO NOT use CubeSmart, find someone else who has a social conscience and sense of loyalty to their customers.

This is the worst company ever! Do not rent here! My facility has had three or four different managers in the last 6 months all due to a horrible regional manager. They will always treat the customer like he is second-best and the company is always right. Monica Edwards is the absolute worst!! Corporate will never stand behind their managers, nor what they say or do oh, so there's very little point in discussing anything with anybody. If you call the 800 corporate numbers, you will get a phone center that promises to pass along your request via email, but you will never get a call back. The whole company is a house of cards and a scam! Stay away

Treated me as if they didnt like my service there. Were watching me on the cameras and came to my unit after being there 20 min and opened my unit while i was there.....beubg nosey. Called the police on me because i dozed off sitting in my unit scratching a lottery ticket exhausted after working all day. Very rude to me. Also refusee to let me back on the property to get my things put of the unit. So i had to get someone else to get my things out for me. I paid every month and dont understand how you run a business that way.

This place build you up tear up apart well at least try the management is favoritism to the FS's the GM I was working with was extremely rude and sexist and no sympathy at all they had to figure out a way to get rid of me after he threw a customer personal item in out dumpster kept what he want free stay in the cube to smoke drink alcohol at his pleasure.
