I was a long term renter of this facility in green bay when it was sold and Cube not so smart took over, from being broke into lack of security, place was vandalized and gas station next doors cameras helped find who broke in, the prices they charge with increases for our area might work for a while but surely will lose the long term renters, moved out and rented another unit for less than half of what they want, corporation storage owners, managers care only about themselves and stock prices along with the ceo making millions off this high priced operation. move out and find cheaper units in the area, a handful of 2x4's, cheap garage door and sheet metal and building not maintained isn't worth what they are taking from the locals "because the market bears it" its a shame

This business does not care about their long-term customers...I don't understand why people are so quick to give them five stars...when they lock you out your unit and/or quick to cut your lock and auction your belongings...your five star review of them won't be the same. I was a business, and they cut my lock, placed the cut lock inside my unit and had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to buy another lock...I closed my accounts, and I had a few units there. They were not getting my inventory for cheap, and nor was anyone else. I would never rent with CubeSmart again anywhere. Always increasing the rent, but to get you in they lower the price, and tell you according to market rate, so why don't you decrease the customer's rent, if the market is down.

My truck was vandalized as someone was trying to steal it. Definitely an inside job. Security system has been down for months. so we’re paying for 24 hour security and getting none. I am looking into starting a class action lawsuit and would like other customers that had a similar experience join me. Please contact me

For the past three years CubeSmart has been raising the rent exhorbantly every 6-12 months. Roughly 3 times the rate of inflation. Greed is the only reason for increases of this magnitude. I will move out just because of this. I had even asked about rate increases upon signing. Their response was small and infrequent which was a lie. No wonder they would not provide longer term contracts. My advice is find a different provider.

I would give it a zero but I have to put something. They let my favorite person in the whole world go from my favorite CubeSmart store. I am moving my stuff out immediately, and I'm going to find someplace who treats their employees and customers much better. This young woman did everything for me helped me in ways that she didn't have to. And they have the nerve to Let Her Go without any warning. I'm out of there. By the way this was the place in Columbia.

CubeSmart is a dangerous place to store your belongings. The storage unit I rented had motion sensors in the hallway that controlled the lights. Even though I turned the light on manually, the motion censors turned the light off and it couldn’t be turned back on manually. The hallway lights had to be activated to manually turn the light in the storage unit back on.

(9/27/2023) Rented a storage unit at their Riverview, FL facility. During the finalization of completing the Agreement on-line, it turns out that they require you to purchase one of their locks for $19.99. The only way to not purchase the lock is to go into the local office and waste your time completing the Agreement and have them remove the Mandatory lock purchase. So, much for being convenient!

***WARNING**** You would be wise to avoid doing business with cube smart. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. They are: liars, thieves, unethical, and above all, they do not care about integrity; they willfully and knowingly hurt people, have no understanding what customer service is, and they are quite content doing wrong. Read the myriad of awful reviews and trust what you read. When we arrived in North Las Vegas, we had an excess of home furnishings, etc ... that needed to be stored. We found Storage West. They were awesome! Friendly, easy to work with, personable then one day, having been customers for a few years ... we attempted access to our unit. Denied. We believed there was merely a glitch. We were met by management explaining they were bought by cube smart. Our unit was locked due to failure to pay for two months. Their new fees were assessed in addition to a rate increase -- bear in mind we had just had rent raised by $50 a few months before. New rate after the increase exceeded $200 + fees. After hours of lines, exchanges with our bank. printing receipts, driving to the unit, and proving conclusively that cube smart was wrong, we were still denied access to our unit. Enraged, I asked why this was happening. The response: cube smart knows that size unit is in great demand and they can get whatever they want for it. Days later, my wife received a call stating it was an internal glitch, and a suggestion to get over it and move on. Absolutely not. We have found a wonderful storage facility less than 1/4 mile from our home, significantly less rent, amazing people, and the best customer service -- hello Shield Storage, goodbye cube, a wonderful, breath of fresh air welcome to Shield Storage.
