I ordered a small piece from Crown and paw. The artist will ask you for final approval and will make any small changes you ask for. My status didn't get updated unfortunately but customer service helped me right away. Great customer service.

I absolutely love my pets' portraits. I ordered three different ones to fit their very different personalities. One turned out fantastic with visible brush strokes on my cat's face and head. That part I loved but it didn't quite match the outfit which looked like a photograph. I wish they matched and that both face and body looked more like a painting. The other cat's head was a crisp picture which matched the outfit. Again, I'd prefer it to look like a painting, but that one matched perfectly. And my last cat's head was slightly blurry as if the resolution wasn't high enough. I could have sent in a higher resolution or another picture. This wasn't visible in the proof I was sent. I'll probably add a wash over all the portraits to make them look more like paintings. Overall I am pleased, but would like to have this ironed out for future orders.
