I thought this was a super cute idea, based on the sample products. But the advertised samples do not look like the real finished product. I had decided to order a pet portrait as a gift, and I was not only surprised at the long processing time, but that the artwork that they sent me for review was really not well done, (the pet head looked like a perfect circle and there was no attempt at color matching,or blending), and it was a really tiny sample that could not be enlarged. The tiny size of the thumbnail art they sent me for review seemed like a red flag, but I had already paid, so I asked for an adjustment to make the head less of a perfect circle and waited several more days for the adjusted artwork. The second version was marginally better, so I approved it and kept my fingers crossed. It was a gift for my brother’s birthday, and the long processing time meant that it was already a late gift. When he received it finally, it was even worse than the sample artwork. He actually did not recognize it as his beloved cat of 15 years. Bottom line- I paid way too much for a badly done mug. Really wishing I would have photoshopped it myself.
