Screwed every up, terrible service!

My initial prescription was botched by my Dr.'s staff. After explaining what went wrong to his nurse, the script went through and I received my meds in about 10 days. I was emailed a refill reminder and again, seamless. A prescription that Humana would not cover and was $70 at Costco, $110 at Osco, north of those prices everywhere else was $25.00. Needless to say (but I will anyway) I am ecstatic ! I only wish they had a broader selection so I could move more of my scripts to CostPlus Pharmacy

My personal experience with Cost Plus Drugs was/is fantastic! I signed up, completed the prescription form, and emailed it to my doctor. My doctor sent the prescription to Cost Plus Drugs the same day. (Yeah, my dr’s office rocks.) My prescription used to cost me $30 for a 3-month supply WITH insurance. With Cost Plus Drugs, I pay $15 for a 3-month supply with NO insurance ($10 for meds, $5 shipping). I ordered on February 5th, and it shipped on February 8th. Shipping took about a week, but I ordered early, knowing it would be mailed. *I don’t check my mailbox every day. It could have taken less time. I received emails for every step of the process. The website is easy to navigate. This is my first time having prescriptions mailed. I’ve been extremely happy with the service. Huge thank you to Cost Plus Drugs!

My first order with Cost Plus Drugs took a week or more to get placed because the company has two addresses (Ohio and California) and the two seem to be unrelated or do not communicate with each other. This makes it difficult for the prescribing doctor to place the order. After using all of my authorized refills, I asked my doctor to order more refills. She placed the order 3 times, using fax and escribe. Cost Plus says they still do not have a prescription for me. The savings from Cost Plus (less than $20 per year) is not worth the hours of effort and frustration attempting to place an order. I'm switching to a company with customer service.

I personally know two people who've had a good experience with Cost Plus. If you try them, go into it knowing it will require a lot of your time to get the order right, that it will probably take a minimum of two weeks to get meds (not a huge deal if you know that ahead of time), and that you might end up with the wrong prescription in the end anyway. Have a backup plan. I was sent the wrong meds and had to go elsewhere after weeks of hassle. I did understand going in that it was a gamble that might or might not pay off. I really like the idea of this company, but I'm not sure it's quite ready to handle the demand.

The website stated that my prescription would be $88. I was shocked when my cart read $191. Now I have to start the process of switching back to my previous pharmacy.

So so happy with them! My insurance charges $1100. for a 3 month supply of my med, so I have been getting it from Canada. That price is $105.00 with shipping and it takes a month to get it. Cost Plus Drugs cost is $58.00 inc shipping and received the med in a week. Very easy also for my doctor to order it also. Finally a billionaire owner is doing something good for the ordinary person and not for himself. Can't say enough good things about this company!

We signed up using an email address that left out one letter, and now it won't let us start over. Wrote customer service, they got back after a few days and just said "try again" and gave a # to call if problems persisted. They did, and when we called the # there is no option for "trouble signing in," so that was useless. Meanwhile, they asked us for a review, and we explained what happened and that we were very unsatisfied with the "help" they provided. That was days ago and no response.
