I bought Costa 6A8012 glasses from LenseCrafters. The nose pads come off everytime I clean them and sometimes they fall off on their own. To replace is $11.00. Had the glasses for less than 6 months. I had to buy another pair. These were for vision. I just can't send them in for warranty like they like me to. Cut my losses will never by Costa again. First and last time. Lesson learned

Bought a $300 pair of glasses for my 70 year old wife, she liked the way they felt. Year later major scratches in the lenses. My wife is super careful with them. Tried to get a warranty repair…no such luck or consideration. I wear Oakleys, Maui Jim’s and Ray Bans…..all great quality and no issues. I compare my wife’s costa to Shady Rays, but Shady rays stand behind their product. Very disappointed.

Glasses lasted only 7 months. I paid over $600. Very upsetting experience, considering that I could have gotten 3 pairs of less expensive eyewear elsewhere. The main reason I decided to give them a try was that the company claimed the warranty was excellent. They broke as I was wearing them and fell off my head. They cannot repair. Do not waste your money, customer service is horrible. You cannot talk to anyone who can really help, just emails.

Alright, here we are. A very unpopular opinion. I have bought two pairs of Reefton (Blue glass lens and Green glass lens) recently. My first buy from Costa. After using them for a month continuously, what I have discovered is, they are one of the worst glass made lenses I have ever owned. I have multiple models of sunglasses from seven different major sunglass brands and all I always put on are the glass made lenses for best clarity. These costa glass lenses are the worst performing glass lenses in terms of clarity. And I don't know, if anyone has ever experienced this, these lenses are blemished with optical distance distortion. I have tested quite a lot of times now with both of the pairs. When you look through this glass lenses, it will seem like things are little further away than they actually are. Annoying experience. Wearing these glasses for a long time, brings up headache eventually because of this glass lenses imperfection. I have read and watched quite a lot of reviews and videos online about these glasses . Seems like most of them are paid promotions. None of them ever talked about the glass optical distance distortion. Having doubt on myself, I took both of pairs to a local sunglass dealer, where they are authorized to sell Costa Del Mar Sunglasses. I showed the glasses to the lady from the dealer-shop, and she said they should be the best if I have bought them directly from Costa website (Which I did). When I showed her the problem of the lens, at first she did not believe me. After testing my glasses, she said, it might be my pair of glasses that are not produced perfect. The funny thing is, we tested Costa same model from her shop and guess what. The same problem. We then tested two different models from Costa. Same issue with the glass lense. The lady was astonished. I told her to try on a different brand. She tested Maui Jim and no problem like this. Horrible experience. The reason for paying extra bucks for the glass made lenses are for the clarity. And in this case, that thing is missing. The frames of the glasses are okay. Can't tell anything about them right now, since I have been using them just for a month. The only good thing about this glasses are, they come with a good, durable cases. But that's not the reason we pay a lot of money (specially for the glass lenses) for a pair of sunglass. We pay for the lens clarity and performance. A very dissatisfying experience. Will not buy from Costa again.

I sent mine in for a lens’s repair to their warranty company Luxottica they sent them back with the frames all chipped up. When I chatted with them they said they’d take care of it. Yeah no none in stock. Now they want me to call costs customer service and you can’t get anyone to answer the phone.
