I found these frames in a local eye doctor's office and they were marked up to play the "insurance game". Very happy with the price and speed of delivery.

My order arrived quickly, it was packaged in a secure box and nicely padded. The frames were in excellent condition. I would definitely order again.

After having the exact frame break I ordered a replacement over a month ago and still have not received it. I e-mailed the company and no one contacted me to explain what the problem was.

Please be aware that cool frames.com is based in the US so if you live anywhere else, you may be subject to customs charges. Their website fails to make this clear - except in the small print - and if you challenge them, they are thoroughly unsympathetic, simply trotting out what are clearly phrases from an unconvincing script.

I had to return a pair of eyeglasses because they were sent to me defective. I was told by my optician that they would always be a problem. I was told by Cool Frames that I could not get a full refund, even if they were defective. I should have taken the refund, minus the restocking fee. I had to pay an additional return fee of $9.95 for their error. I exchanged for a different frame, and I was told that they would make the exchange as soon as they received my defective frame. A week after they should have received it, I called them to check the status of my order, and they had not ordered the new frame yet! I was told it would be coming from overseas, so it would be two more weeks till they received it, and then they still would have to send it on to me. I spent more than a month getting the correct frame. I would rather pay more money and be able to get my needed glasses in a more timely manner. Takeaway: Don't use this company again!

Thus far i am not impressed or wowwed by cool frames. Placed my first online order for glasses, waited 3 days to get an email from cool franes stating that they had ordered my lenses and it would be 5 to 7 days before they received them. So 8 to 10 days for them to just get the lenses. My assumption is it will be 7 to 10 days for them to get the lenses in the frames and another who only knows how long to ship them to me. Waiting 2 weeks to a month to receive a pair of specs that I need to see and work is not what I would call a good deal....at any price! Will update when I have further info. At this point I am not pleased with this process or cool frames efficiency.

After having a particlar style of Easy Twist Frames for several years, my husband wanted another pair the same, as he really liked them but they were falling apart with extensive use. We couldn't find the frames anywhere in Australia and I scoured the internet trying to find stockists, including contacting the international manufacturer. The Australian distributor could get them in, but we'd have to purchase them through an optometrist, and the prices quoted were exorbitant! After contacting CoolFrames to ascertain if the frames we wanted were in stock, they replied promptly to say they could get them and came up with the best price we could find anywhere. We were well informed during the ordering process, the frames arrived as promptly as expected for international delivery and everything is fine with my husband's new glasses.
