I've been ordering lenses from Contact Lens King for years. Service has declined tremendously in the last couple of years. I placed an order on 2/24 and it is now 3/3 and my order is still in the "processing" stage. They never sent a confirmation email for my order and I had to go back and check my account to see that it was actually placed (yes I checked my spam folder). This also happened the last time I ordered and they ended up telling me after about two weeks of waiting that my order was delayed because they didn't have them in hand. Orders used to take just 2-3 days to process. The icing on the cake is that I've always ordered some of the cheapest lenses and they used to be ~$52 including tax and s/h. My most recent order for the same lenses I've always purchased totaled $86.66. Insane. There's no way the quality of those lenses are worth spending an additional $34 but I need new contacts asap. If you need affordable contact lenses quickly, this is no longer the site to buy from. Unfortunately, they lost a loyal customer and I will be looking elsewhere for my next purchase.

HI Alison. Thank you for ordering with Contact Lens King. Upon looking into your order, I see you are prescribed a different brand of contacts. As an authorized retailer we are required to be in compliance with the manufacturers pricing. Unfortunately, this brand you are now prescribed is a more expensive lens then you have previously worn. As stated on our website these lenses need to be ordered from the manufacturer as these are a specialty lens. I do see you placed the order on Friday the 24th at 11:13pm which is outside of our normal business hours. When you placed the order you provided your doctors information so we can fax a verification request. Due to your doctors office not open over the weekend we had to wait till Monday the 27th. Federal Law states we have to give your doctors office 8 business hours to respond before we can legally process your order. After those 8 business hours we processed your order which unfortunately, was on the next business day (2/28). At that point your lenses were ordered directly with the manufacturer. Again, as stated on the website they typically take 1-2 business days to come in. We do hope they will come in to ship today for you. I sincerely apologize the manufacturer is experiencing a delay with your product. We do our best to get them in a timely manner. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.

I’ve been ordering contacts through Contact Lens King for a few years. They always have the cheapest prices on the lenses I need and I can usually find a coupon or get free shipping to help even more. They also ship out super fast which is always a plus when you run out of fresh contacts.

I have said in the past that I like your service and reliability, this particular time, I had to jump through a few more hoops than the past.
Response from Contact Lens King Inc.Feb 24, 2023
HI David. Thank you for ordering with Contact Lens King. Upon looking into your account, I see there was a discrepancy with the order you placed on 2/7 with the prescription you provided via email. Our customer service team reached out to you immediately to advise you of the issue. Records indicate that you replied to our email giving us permission to match the order to the prescription you provided. I do see you are prescribed specialty lenses and per our website they need to be ordered from the manufacturer which take approximately 2-3 business days to arrive. We did ship out the product on the 3rd business day. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
