I signed up for Connecten in order to see if it would work as a replacement for my current internet service. The speed was not the best, especially the upload speed. I have a hotspot with TMobile that is much faster and less expensive. After trying the service for a while, I decided it would not work for me. Instead of letting me cancel online, Connecten required me to speak with a customer rep. Then, once I cancelled the service, I find out that the $199 modem fee is not a deposit but a rental fee. So I paid $199 for using their modem for a month. I will not consider this company again since the service was slow compared to other options and since the fee for the modem is non-refundable.
