Hi Charles! We love to read that your buying experience and our products are great, thank you for taking the time to share. It is true, warranty eligibility does require that the systems are installed by hvac professionals. This is something that most all manufacturers require in order to ensure optimal product operation and longevity. We hope the new board brings you many more years of continued comfort. We greatly appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you again on ComfortUp.com. -The ComfortUp Team
