A Nightmare Move with an Unethical, Disrespectful Company_Coastal Moving Service This relocation was one of the most damaging, deceitful, and emotionally taxing experiences of my life. I was quoted an estimate of roughly $4,000. In the end, I paid more than $8,000—and not by choice. The team claimed the truck couldn't hold our belongings, despite having detailed photos and a complete inventory well in advance. Their planning was careless, their communication dishonest, and their professionalism nonexistent. Halfway through the loading process, the crew simply stopped. Refused to continue. Left us stranded mid-move. As someone who manages a chronic health condition, the mental and physical toll this caused was devastating. And despite being financially responsible, I had to borrow money just to get through this sham of a service. Delivery was another betrayal: promised for 3:00 PM, arrived after 6:00 PM. The unloading? A disgrace. Items were tossed into our home like garbage. Furniture scratched, valuables broken, property damaged. Not once did the crew show an ounce of care or accountability. I injured my back from the chaos. My family suffered. And the company’s conduct suggested they don’t just ignore human emotion—they exploit it. This is not just poor service; it’s a failure of basic human decency. I urge anyone even considering this company to reconsider immediately. Their disregard for integrity, ethics, and customers’ wellbeing makes them unfit to operate.

They showed up a day late but apparently there is a clause where they a primary day and a backup day, ok, they got me there. Once the movers showed up, the lead guy was very rude and demanding and wanted an additional $1,000 before he would start loading due to my items being larger than he thought. I had a list in my hand that showed everything to be loaded that he refused to look at. He and his crew spoke broken english (Russian) so communicating was already difficult. When I tried to explain the contract, had zero interest in looking at it and didn't even know who Coastal Moving was. That's when I found out that they were a broker to a dispatcher that was called from Coastal. The lead guy, who was 6'1"-ish was standing over top of one of my helpers who is female and 4'11" screaming at her to shut the fk up because she said he was unprofessional. It got uglier from there but if anyone uses these people, be prepared to pay a lot more once they arrive. Look somewhere else for movers. They are used car salesmen at best and will tell you how great they are but don't deliver. The crew ended up leaving with zero furniture moved and they got part of my payment. Legal proceedings are pending.

Totally unethical company! AVOID! They picked up my stuff on July 3, 2025, and I was assured that my belongings would be delivered on July 16, 2025. However, when I contacted your customer service on the scheduled date, I was informed—without prior notice—that the delivery would be delayed by “a couple of weeks” and my stuff was still lying at the source. I realised it's too late to do anything about it and just prayed they move my stuff safely. This in itself was inconvenient and disappointing. What is even more unacceptable is what transpired today. When the delivery driver finally arrived, he refused to pull into the driveway and demanded an additional $275 without any valid justification. Upon questioning this demand, I was verbally abused with profane language, which is absolutely outrageous and entirely unacceptable under any standard of professional service. This company and its moving partner, LoadRans LLC, are a bunch of fraudsters! Avoid if you can to save your valuable assets and peace of mind.
