Please avoid this Hospital. It is the worst patient care that you will ever attempt to receive. It is only interested in bilking the insurance. Cardiac department has no interest in helping an individual in need. My appt was canceled after a 2 month wait bc of staff error. They had no remose or empathy in rescheduling. I am so stressed and in great distress over this debacle w CC. I implore you to go elsewhere.

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio is AMAZING!!! Dr Patrick Vargo is my dads Cardiothorasic Surgeon. At our first appointment to Cleveland Clinic June 2022 my dad had about 8 different appointments throughout the day. It’s awesome that they can coordinate all appointments on one day for out of town patients. Dr Vargo saved my dads life not once but twice. He is very young, very experienced and down to earth. He explains everything in simple, easy to understand language and beautiful drawings. He first did the TEVAR procedure on my dad in July for a descending Type B Aortic Dissection. Then we went back for my dads 3 month checkup and we were in the process of going to all his appointments when Dr Vargo’s NP called my dad on his cell phone and told him he needed to go immediately to the ICU, upon review of his new CT and Echo, they discovered he had a Aortic Type A Ascending Aortic Dissection which required immediate surgery. We just went back in January 2023 for my dads 3 month check up. Dad had done his CT with contrast and we were to meet with the NP. She had called in sick so we were told they would call next week for a phone follow up. I told the front desk gals that dad really needed to be seen. They called Susan, Dr Vargos nurse coordinator and she asked Dr Vargo if he would see us and he made the time to check my dad out. My dad goes back for surgery in March 2023. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Vargo, and his entire staff. They are absolutely amazing.

I went to see Dr Natalie Phillips for some pain I was having. She’s been nothing but the best. I really felt heard and understood by her. I have had nothing but amazing experiences from both her and the clinic. It’s the best in London- highly recommend!

I have spent many years traveling a long way for treatment at the Cleveland Clinic, believing that they were the best. They do not provide the world class care they advertise. Many of their doctors are arrogant, lazy and dismissive. When they can't find an explanation for real medical issues, they relegate the problem to pain, rather than researching and taking time to find the underlying root cause of problems that are visible and externally progressive. I have rapidly deteriorating muscles that multiple physical therapists have charted physical therapy won't help until they treat the underlying cause of my atrophy. So-called specialists keep referring me for pain management, rather than find out why my body is visibly wasting away. They hire young doctors that don't have a clue. If they can't find a textbook solution, they don't dig deeper. CC thrives off of a reputation that they do not live up to at the expense of patient care, patient treatment and patient lives. One doctor didn't review my chart before immediately recommending me to the pain clinic. Most of the doctors don't listen. They block messaging from mychart when they don't want to be bothered with questions or concerns raised by patients. I notice that I no longer get surveys to rate my doctors after visits. That is why I am leaving reviews elsewhere. They don't want to be rated, especially when they know that patients are dissatisfied. I am disillusioned by my experiences with their lackluster doctors who are not world class while I've gotten sicker with each passing year that they fail to solve the medical issue because they refuse to find the underlying problem.

Great company to work for Management is not so good. We are fully staffed and our supervisor insist on a daily basis to micromanage his staff. This is becoming very stressful mentally and physically. Our department has no problem with asking for help if needed. Every individual knows what's expected but he feels he need a update or have to tell us what and how to do our task. We all been in pharmacy long enough to use our better judgment when it comes to our daily task. If he isn't on site he message the staff about what isn't been done or complete a task, our job is already stressful he just adds to it. If you don't go along with his ideas he shows you he doesn't care for you by directly ignoring you,or whispering to other staff members. We basically are being bulleyed at our work place by a individual with narcissistic ways.

The actual Cleveland main campus might be OK but their satellite location/s suck. My mom is a patient at the Lorain campus and good luck getting someone to answer the phone. On average if you call its 45 minutes to an hour to get a real person. Their doctors rarely call the patient themselves. The doctor/s often prescribed meds and make appointments for the patient but never tells the patient. Really bad communication. If you try to call in its an hour wait and you will never speak to the doctor. The clinic doctors do not seem to talk to each other because of duplicate blood work orders and you ask them why and they can't articulate an answer. Not impressed and they seem only concerned with running their operations and $$$. They claim to be a world class health care provider and patients first but Home Depot or Lowe's can actually answer their phone and they are not involved in anyone's well being.

called for re refill of prescription. Was told my doctor had left. Thanks for letting me know. Got an appointment with Dr.Shiffley. Received confirmation re appt. The day of appointment 30 min before appt. Was called to tell me Dr. Shiffley was retiring and not taking patience. No one to prescribe Blood Pressure meds. I have 3 pills left. How unprofessional and ridiculous. Asked to speak to mgr. Was told she was in meeting and would call me back…….never got a call. What kind of incompetence is being employed by Cleveland Clinic. Absurd and totally Unprofessional. I expected more excellence from Cleveland Clinic. This is third world treatment.

Glad I didn’t make it through…. Had preliminary interview for 15 mins via Zoom and it went okay but I didn’t make it through to the next stage. Company sound very impressive to work for so I was naturally a bit dejected, but looking at these pretty poor reviews, I think things worked out in my favour. And Cleveland Clinic seem not to reply to any of the comments, which is a fair sign of how they value their staff and patients.
