I've only just started with Clearcover, so this review could change in a heartbeat. I used to have Progressive and ended up switching due to the fact that my rates were constantly going up despite me having a 'Diamond Member' status with them. I found myself adjusting my deductibles higher and higher just to afford my insurance payments. Then I found Clearcover and their rates were almost HALF of what Progressive was offering me. Applying online was super easy and I had my quote within minutes. I went ahead and paid for my new policy and it started the same day. They send you a link in your email to activate your account, you download the app and you're ready to go! I had a small issue where I forgot to include an excluded driver and discovered that I was unable to alter that through the app like I used to do with Progressive. I ended up using their chat feature to reach out to one of their customer service reps who walked me through adding the excluded driver to my policy. He sent me an email with a document attached that I had to electronically sign and my excluded driver was added onto my policy same day. Hopefully I'll never have to use them to file a claim, but if I do I'll be sure to upload a review stating how that went.

Terrible! Terrible! Horrible "Auto insurance Company!!" I had an auto accident where these Ghetto Thugs hit my Beautiful Silver Ice Metallic Convertible Camero, and totalled it. However, Clearcover wanted me to get it fixed and drive it!! A VERY, VERY BADLY WRECKED AND TOTALED VEHICLE!! It has been since August of 2018, and they have Yet to let me know any updates! I called the adjuster several times, and each time, she doesn't do her job, to make a simple phone call to the other person's insurance carrier, or anything else for that matter, to find out if they are going to cover my car rental and anything else! I Have to Do It! Everything!! It has been almost 2 Years!! Clearcover Has Not Done Their Job!! Now, They have Responded and Lied and Said That I Had Multiple Claims! WT!! Are You Talking About And NO I Do Not???!!! Btw, My Name Is Tish, Not Trish! Can't You Even Read???!! I Thought You Had A Privacy Policy? Yet, You Try To Rat Me Out And Add Some Lies? I Will Be Reaching Out To Consumer Affairs About This! Trash Company!!

One star because there was not an option to give none ! This company is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Two months from accident date and no resolution has been given . To be informed of any type of update it is up to tyou to reach out to a company representative. Very little over the phone contact and always an excuse as to why the process is delayed. Issues escalated to managers/supervisor don’t get resolved any quicker if at all , still haven’t heard from a manager ir supervisor although I’ve tried to contact them .

Last summer I had a rock fly and hit my windshield, and I got a quote for a windshield and it was several 100 dollars, I called Clearcover and reported my claim. I have full coverage, becaus Obama srill paying car payments. Now they called me back and told me that I would have to pay a $500.00 deductible. So if I have to pay that is cheeped to just buy a windshield? The last insurance I had was mercury which I had a more expensive car and I had full coverage. I did not have to pay a deductible, ans got my more expensive windshield free. And they came out to my house and put the new one in. I don’t understand why I have to pay a deductible it’s like paying more for the windshield? They are a low cost insurance company, but the policy’s are going up a little. And not quite sure if it’s worth. They say you get what you pay for. And I am still driving around with a cracked windshield which was not my fault to began with s rock flew from a truck on the freeway ans cracked it. But now due to weather being hot and just shutting the doors the cracks have gotten bigger. And I am on a limited income and cannot afford to get a new windshield.

This insurance is ridiculous. So I got rear ended and the insurance of the driver that hit us doesn’t cover because of the limit they have. So I contact my claims adjuster and he states that because my father is not on the policy and I live with him per my fathers statement (I have address proof that I don’t) he said that the insurance can’t cover anything. I pay $214 a month for full coverage for what. For nothing, for them to tell me it doesn’t cover, yet we weren’t the ones at fault. Well I’m canceling this insurance going with someone else, which I prefer to pay more that have to deal with this so called insurance. You guys will be hearing from my lawyers really soon.

Clearcover provided me with what I needed for a season. They provided me with good quality auto insurance at a lower than average rate. I was happy to have both comprehensive and collision coverage with additional perks like roadside assistance and rental reimbursement. Unfortunately when it came to a fender-bender for which I was not at fault, things changed. The claims filing process was easy. I was able to detail the accident and provide pictures and insurance information for the other party. The next business day I received a call from the Littleton Group representative. The representative called me to instruct me to give the other party's insurance the best time to reach me. Seems innocent enough. I told the Littleton Group representative that I wanted to talk with a lawyer, just for a consultation. She became very aggressive, interrupted me several times during the conversation and told me that I didn't need to. Well, whether or not I 'needed' to was her opinion. I wanted to talk with someone for the security and to make myself feel better. Being in an accident is a stressful event. She was not compassionate at my feelings at all and pressured me to call the other insurance company if I wanted to 'resolve the issue and have them pay for my car's damages' she said. After the phone call with her I received a phone call from the other side's insurance adjuster stating that she was told I was seeking legal representation. I was floored. Now, getting this resolved, telling them that I'm not seeking legal representation and getting this claim moving again has been difficult. Needless to say that Clearcover was the perfect auto insurance company prior to me filing the claim. Just paying my premiums and having proof of insurance. As a result of being treated in a way that I was not satisfied with, I switched my insurance to a company that cost more for my premium but that provides me with EXCELLENT customer service. I recommend Clearcover to someone who doesn't want to spend a lot on premiums but doesn't require excellent customer service. I think the company had a good idea to reduce auto insurance costs by using AI and technology but fell short on some areas that they're still not as competitive as the major companies.

Very poor claims handling. A Clearcover client hit my car, but after a week of waiting, the Clearcover adjuster, plus Littleton representative (who handles claim investigations) haven't provided a resolution for determining damage to my auto. Maybe this is how they offer cheap rates, by ignoring legitimate claims.

Worse insurance ever!!!! Been trying to get in contact with the claim adjuster haven’t been successful. Been leaving voice mails to adjuster he won’t get back until 3-4 days later. i was in a hit in run accident the guy ran and did damage to my car. I have uninsured motorists coverage. But because i sweared to prevent any more damages to my car i am fault and i have to pay my deductible. We filed a police report and everything and provided all the information about the car color license and everything. But they want to be rude about it. And when you ask to speak to a supervisor they tell you to hold on and hang up and when you call back right away they say oh we will have him get a ahold of you witch is going to be a never. Worse insurance ever. Don’t go based off of price go based off reviews do research before going with a horrible company.
