Impossible to cancel your subscription. No one answers the phone and you are asked to leave a VM. I was told to login to cancel but there are no options to do that. "Contact Us' takes you to a blank page. Logging in with email and order ID shows you your orders and that's it. Email did respond but with incorrect instructions. nice bags but VERY EXPENSIVE especially when you cant cancel after receiving more bags than I can use in 5 years.

I.ordered a starter package. It was sent to the wrong address and customer disservice was no help.

It’s a good idea. However, the 13-gallon bags are just cut off at the top so there’s no way to stretch them over the trash can. I tried using tape but it didn’t hold as the bag got heavier. Very surprised there’s no drawstring or any way to attach the bag. Regarding the storage bags, because these products are green you can’t see what’s inside the bag. So I write on them and the list gets longer and longer. I’m sorry I got these but maybe you’ll like them better. So the company responded. There’s nothing wrong with the quality of the product. It’s a total design fail. Can’t use a 13-gallon bag, designed for use in a trash can, in an actual trash can.

I ordered a set of Cleanomic "compostable bags." Then I read the fine print on the boxes containing the bags. They are not recyclable except "in a commercial recycling service." We live in a rural area and would have to drive 90 minutes and then pay for commercial recycling. I wrote and called about returning the order and after attempts to have me pay for the bags, I was told to keep them and they refunded my money ($99). I cancelled any further subscriptions and orders -- evidence is on their website. Nevertheless six months later they sent me another full order calling it my "free trash bags for life," and charged me $99. I wrote three emails and finally talked to a (very sweet) woman representative and arranged to return this set of bags. It cost me $ 15.40 to return them. Presumably I will be refunded my $99. I will be on the lookout for another unwanted and unsubscribed order arriving in six months time.

May be a good product concept; we all need to do our part to reduce plastics waste. Their subscription model is really poor; one cannot possibly use bags at this rate. It’s expensive to protect the environment through Cleanomic. Managing the subscription via the website simply didn’t work—there’s a tech problem with the page. Once I’m there, there’s no navigation back to things like ‘contact us’ or a phone number. I prefer websites that authenticate with username + passwords; they require my email + recent order number, something I cannot easily remember or store in a password management app. Among the worst customer service, and this alone drives the time I’m spending writing a review. My request was to pause a subscription and reset a password. It took a dozen volleys of email with representative “❤️Keith,” whose responses were largely copy/paste morsels of apologies for the website, kindness, assurances of their availability, repeated instructions to self-manage my subscription, statement that they just tried to call me but I didn’t answer (caller ID didn’t show this). When he finally understood I wanted to pause, then he turned that into a billing frequency question. So a subscription isn’t based upon what I need, but instead upon a cash flow meter for Cleanomic. “I just want to pause and resume when my consumption catches up with the inventory I was accumulating.” His answer was to cancel. Ugh; whatever. I never got an answer to resetting a password. Good customer service is about listening to what a customer needs, not about reminding me of how nice Cleanomic is. When I have to say the same thing over and over, then I feel like there’s a chat bot on the other end providing AI support, or that English is not his primary language. That makes me an angry consumer, something no company wants—and that results in reviews like this.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY I purchased a recurring order. When I tried to cancel the order, for 3 weeks now, I have tried to call them (cannot get through), I have emailed support (said they would respond but never have). I even called the purchase line as i could get a person on the phone. He took down my concern and said i would receive a call back in less than 24 hrs. Its been 3 days since that effort. I am still struggling to find out how to return these products 3 weeks later. Nothing wrong with the product, but I'm not using them this fast. Zero zero customer service available.

I tried a sheet from a friend, it was ok. But, the cost though! Want to try this but majority of reviews are the traps this company sets with complicated subscriptions, and take a long time to cancel. I hate the trap subscriptions… the cost is also high even when subscribe. I want to buy and try it first without complicating subscriptions. I think I’ll go with Earth Breeze.

Works very well and smells good but I wish I had bought unscented as they make me sneeze when I load washer. Clothes come out very clean.
