It was very easy to get a quote for my books, place the sell order, print out shipping labels and then mail. Very good followup via email to let me know that the books had been received, then processed, and finally that payment was processed and the check was sent. I received the check within a week.

I dont like the idea that the books have to be in perfect condition. I sent over books that can be fixable and get paid a fraction, but now they wont pay and will charge me to send it back to me "supposedly" they will donate which I am sure its not true.

"fixable" ???? To make everything clear and hopefully educate future customers from duplicating your mistake. We will never purchase any item that is "fixable". As we explained to you in the emails we exchanged. The items you send to us have to meet OUR condition guidelines and policies as laid out on our site. http://www.ckybooks.com/book-condition-policy/ When you send items to us with torn pages, covers falling off and books with water damage. We will not buy them. It does not matter if you think they are "fixable" or not. Books that customers do not want returned or are unwilling to pay the return shipping charges are donated to charity or disposed of, in this case disposed of.

I've used other sites and CKY is the only one that confirms receipt of the books, keeps you updated on the status and provides the quickest turnaround in processing the transaction. Pricing was also very competitive compared to the other sites. Overall a very positive experience!

even after a hacker hacked the system to make erroneous book buying values. I contacted CKY and they upheld the values on books I sold them. First time customer and I was a bit skeptical of a new site.

I DEAL WITH SEVERAL COMPANIES WHEN SELLING MY BOOKS--OF THESE ONE [ NOT YOURS] ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THEIR BUYING AMOUNTS AND TREATMENT. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU CAN OFFER A BUYING PRICE ONE DAY AND TWO DAYS LATER GO FROM SEVERAL DOLLARS TO LESS THAN A DOLLAR... I CANT SEE THE MARKET CHANGING THAT DRASTICALLY.....I HAVE LEARNED FROM EXPERIENCE TO SELL YOU THE BOOK AS SOON AS I HAVE AN OFFER , FOR TWO DAYS LATER THAT OFFER WILL NOT BE THERE----DONT.
