Buyer beware.There is a chance that you can get screwed like I did with a driver.I paid the fee to have my dog transported Dec 16.The driver cancelled on the day of pick up and refunded me 240 of the 600 I gave him. He Said he had car troubles. A month later he still owes me 150.The company is not responsible if driver bails.The most they can do is refund you the 170 fee that you have to pay before you can find a driver. I recommend finding ground transportation companies and not a third party like citizenshipper who doesn't care about you losing your monet.I had to get another driver from there who was reliable and had to fork out more money.Think before you do it. Driver sent me $17.71 like is he on drugs? Owes me 133 dollars and says he will pay me today.I haven't gotten a dime.Please people ,focus on negative reviews.Company doesn't care about driver and customer dispute.They didn't lock his account whilst he has outstanding balance with me for over a month.

Devin was amazing! 24/7 GPS tracking along with constant updates on our dog with photos. Brought our boy from Florida to Maine! Very reasonable price. I can't say enough good things about him. However, be aware that you will pay more than what is quoted as CitizenShipper does have a mandatory "cents per mile" fee.

Lost our dog! Our dog has now been missing for 5 days in the middle of the cold in Ohio. The transporter lost our sweet girl and left town several hours later to transport another dog somewhere else. Citizen shipper claims no responsibility and has not helped at all in her search. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

This is a good resource to find pet transport. It is good to know the credentials and qualifications of the transporters have been vetted. One criticism that we have is that the fees paid to CitizenShipper directly seem very high for the amount of interaction with the company itself. This would, in conjunction with the fees we had to pay to the transporters, put some people way out of our budget. Other than that, it is a good service and we found a very trustworthy transporter of our pet.
