Through CitizenShipper I got an incompetent driver. This driver lost control of my 8 month old German Shepherd puppy who ran across the highway and got hit by a car. CitizenShipper shipper only refunded my $170 registration fee. Their $1000 Pet Protection Guarantee is misleading and only covers unlikely events such as veterinary bills during the trip. The transportation cost me $1450 including the cost of the crate. The driver lost track of my pup, the pup ran across to the highway and got hit by a car. He was found dead on the side of the highway by his heartbroken breeder who drove out in the middle of a snowy night to look for him.

Easy to use, great customer service. Setting up my request was simple and as soon as it was posted, I started getting quotes. The information provided about each driver (identity verified, certifications, insurance, etc) was very useful. I contacted customer service w ith a question and received a clear, courteous, and professional response from a person, which I appreciated. I needed pet transport, and I recommend using Citizen Shipper if that's what you need.

I was skeptical to try this as I needed to transport a rescue dog 1,900 miles, and none of the professional mover services could do it before she was euthanized. So I tried this out and was so impressed. I got so many reasonable bids within minutes, and the one I went with was absolutely fantastic and $2,000 cheaper than the other companies I got quotes for. I would recommend this site to anyone!

The driver picked my dog up and delivered the dog to me. It was clear the driver did not feed or give my dog water in 24 hours. My dog was moved from a larger cage to a smaller one, which is not what we agreed upon. Further, the driver smelled like weed on arrival, and every phone interaction was argumentative. The driver was vague about pick up and kept confusing me with other customers, and would be argumentative when I would correct him. Do not use this company, and he should be kicked off the platform.

This is the second time ive used this company. First time went with no hitches. Second time however was horrible. They provided me with bids for around $100. No complaints it seemed pretty up front. I booked a driver and paid 325 down. The driver contacted me stating he had been in an accident and could not pick up my puppy. Lickly my breeder had someone traveling my way and I paid them 750 to ship my dog. I contacted citizen shipper. They were no help. Lasr message I received was, "we'll speak with your daughter Julie." I dont have a daughter named Julie. I threw my arms up. Im out an extra 450. If you get a "real" driver theyre ok, but if theyre not going to back up their subcontracted drivers, then whats the point of paying their fee? Unless you enjoy gambling with your money. I would look elsewhere.
