TERRIBLE SERVICE! First, forcing anyone to download an app is a despicable practice. I DON'T NEED AN APP to see a doctor, how was it done for the last century? WITHOUT APPS! And it was fine. There isn't even a desktop version! What the HELL? So when I need to communicate I can't use a real keyboard, everything has to take so much more time! Stop asking people to download apps for each and everything! What's next? I'll need an app to flush my toilets? Second, the customer help, they should call it the customer deception. First they try to direct you with stupid automated questions, just give me a customer service rep already! We always end up getting in a chat with a new person and are forced to reexplain everything over, becuase they have no idea what you said in your previous conversations when they could just leave one channel of communication open with one person! It's so tedious and so stupid, it blows my mind! I can't even have the consultation on my computer! So I have to hold my phone like an idiot through the consultation! You think it's more convenient? IT'S NOT! All in all the service with the doctor was terrible, 240$ for an appointment? What the goddamn hell, she is surely a millionaire with so little service for so much money! In France, it's 25 euros and the service is ten times better, you actually have a competent doctor that is willing to help you and that will give you your prescription so that you can use it wherever you want ! Yeah, because the worst thing here is that they will give you a prescription but you can't take it and order wherever you want, they will force you to use their little select pharmacies, where the price is literally 5 times what it is elsewhere!

Sadly, I was actually relieved to read all of these reviews that are disgusted with Circle Medical, because it lightened my heavy heart of how poorly I was treated as a human needing medical care. And I think that's what's critical here is that this is medical care-this is not a bad experience buying a dishwasher, using a streaming service or getting a massage...this is where a person is seeking care for real physical and psychological illness. People are sick and in pain. And so you are left just baffled at how the state of CA can continue to let a platform like this exist. Yes, Circle Medical is tech easy with appointments today, and so I think it it tricks patients in believing this is professional medical care. But the providers, mostly NP's, are paid just $40/encounter and have little "skin in the game" with Circle Medical as a side hustle they can leave at any time (Obviously, I learned this later). So it makes sense that if treating you becomes complicated where they have to call in prescriptions, labs, or even research treatments...they either won't or in my case... was passed to another provider. Again let me repeat, for $40 they have to talk with you, create chart notes they send you over the app, and then call in the script/bloodwork/mammo etc. There is little to no help for the provider by the staff of Circle Medical, as it was clear that my NP was doing this all on her own. I remember her complaining to me (over the app) that she had to call in my script 3x (as if it was my fault). Remember because you are not part of their physical community-like a local office-there is no oversight on treatment, care or follow up. I think what was alarming was that it felt like my NP cared about me (and so I trusted her), but what I surmised was that I was a time consuming part of her side hustle and so I was dumped. That doesn't feel good and is not medical care I would wish on anyone. Lastly, there is no where to turn...no one answers the phone and you get rotated between customer service agents on the app that don't read your history of messages, pander your complaint and addressing your needs (like your prescription getting filled) can take weeks or never. I couldn't even get anyone to issue a final bill and simply close my account. I have filed a complaint with the CA medical board and encourage others to do so online at: breeze period ca period gov (couldn't type in the URL). Let's let Circle Medical know we are real humans and deserve more than $40 side hustle medical care!

No insurance company should contract with Circle Medical, and if they don't shut them down the government should. No decent doctor should set practice with them, and you should never be a customer. While I really liked my doctor and would love to continue with, billing/customer service is set up as a scam. I have Medicare which they excepted, have everything on file, but billed my credit card (required at sign up.) They don't list a phone or email in the portal and the chat is a robot that does zero. When you find a phone number you will be sent to voicemail with no response. Emails at best say we are working on it but never a follow through. I finally contacted Medicare. They are pursuing a reimbursement but that can take months to get my money back. Why would I possibly risk getting charged out-of-pocket again for a 100% Medicare covered expense? Looking at other reviews, same thing... charge your card 100% of fee and never bill your insurance, then make it so difficult or impossible to get a response. Out-of-Pocket will always pay them more than the insurance contract. It is akin to double billing, charging the difference between contracted amount and full charge. In this case they just charge in full. This type of charging is a breach of contract with insurer and illegal. A scam for profit. Find a doctor elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience with Circle Medical. I did an online assessment and then the physician told me it was her last day and that she would be leaving Circle Medical. They asked me to sign a release of my medical records. My primary care physician's office sent me records and they still haven't received it after a month because they lost it. They asked me to use their mobile app to schedule a follow-up appointment and there is only one provider available and she is not able to see me for over a month. Everything has been a run-around and the it feels like an insurance scam.

Back when I didn't have insurance, I used Circle Medical to get screened for ADHD, and my provider, Jeanne Bird, PA-C really seemed to care about me and tried to help me figure the issues I was having out. She was very kind, understanding, and thorough with me. Even though I couldn't get the help I initially looked for in the beginning, she urged me to see an in-person psychiatrist to have a more thorough screening because, even though my symptoms were on spot, she suspected I may have been suffering from PTSD over ADHD. Well enough, I was diagnosed with PTSD a few months later. I'm grateful for Circle Medical for being so easy to use and for giving me such a wonderful doctor, and I'm sorry that so many people had poor experiences with the service.

Money grubbing uncertified with no credentials shown scam. Dont care about you or the reason your calling. Only thing they care about, is did the card payment clear. Pretty sad they take advantage of desperate people with legitimate problems, that most likely don't have a lot of money. And than make fake promises they don't deliver on. In any other business that's called a scam and a fraud. Cant wait till a lawsuit gets filed against this unprofessional, crocked, pathetic joke a medical institute. How is this crap legal Couldn't find Doctor Lisa Wagner on the medical doctor board, not only in CO but anywhere. Didn't listen and just jumped to a bunch of conclusion's. Absolutely just horrible

This is a scam. Do not book appointments with them. They will keep charging your credit card and there's no way to remove it. I booked with a "sleep specialist" to deal with my insomnia since I saw their ads. It was just a generic visit, with no special knowledge or treatment. I was charged full $130, which I paid, and had zero results from. That same doctor wanted me to schedule an annual visit (promised to be free via my insurance) to discuss doing lab work and evaluate all the basics. Keep in mind, this is all online. The doctor has no idea what your health is like via video. Once the appt happened, which was shorted by 10 min since the doctor was late. Then they billed as another $130 visit, that I am refusing to pay. I would have never made this appt, if it wasn't promised originally to be my yearly free annual for labwork. Now I cannot reach anyone, and when I do, I keep getting the same response that they can't change what was billed. They also tried to force me to book another recheck, but I am glad I cancelled it.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I recently tried their service. Although I was told the consultation only required a $10 copay. A few weeks after later, I was charged a $130 new patient fee. Labs were supposed to be free. I was charged 40 dollars for those. And in the end, I never got the prescription I wanted—no number for customer service. And you can’t remove your credit card from their system. Avoid!! Avoid! Avoid!
