Incompetent team. Messed up my application two times. They used my information without my consent. They did not validate the documents which they are being paid to do by the way. They ignored my requests multiple times and did not get back to me when I said I want to put in an official complaint. You are better off doing any visa applications yourself.

A work colleague advised me about them, quick and easy to use. Got all the information I need, was advised four working days and it took three! The portal was easy to use to upload documents. Would be nice to get the cost upfront as an idea. I will be saving this link and advising other work colleagues whom travel - thankyou

Quick and efficient process. Thank you. Although the fee was not an issue, I would have preferred to know how much before giving my credit card info.

It was fairly easy, although I had to ask for my visa (they sent my wife’s twice).

I contacted CIBT on Aug 27th to apply for a visa. Although I had provided all the documentation, they kept on asking for the same basic things like the photo and passport copy. They finally submitted the application on Sep 2nd. Travel was planned for Sep 8th, and when I followed up on Sep 5th, they told me that it was still under processing. On Sep 7th out of despair I applied to an express visa through a different agency, just to find out that my initial application was approved on Sep 4h! I tried to check in for the flight using the file number the other agency provided, but I was denied onboard. Had to cancel the trip. CIBT was able to send me the visa on Sep 9th, 2 business days and a weekend after it was indeed approved. They said they didn’t receive the confirmation before. Never again with CIBT.

CIBT was recommended to me by the company that I was travelling to China for. I am glad that I did not read the reviews beforehand as I would have missed out on an exceptionally seamless process. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for. I had the premium service and was in a rush situation to get my visa as I had only three weeks before departing for China with tickets already bought and paid for. My consultant (Veronika) assured me that all would be well - and it was. I got my visa back today - a week before travelling. I was fully aware of the charges including overnight express shipping as they were clearly laid out and I discussed all of them with Veronika prior to moving forward. I sent frequent mails requesting advice on the process and the questions on the application form and got prompt, specific answers. I was continually updated on the status of my application by phone and mail. Can you do this on your own with smaller expense? - yes. Would I have gotten it all correct? - probably. Would I have been confident on getting my visa back in time? - not at all. I understand that other people have had a different experience than I did but for me, this was an exceptional experience, and I can only thank Veronika for dealing with my multitude of questions with absolute professionalism and for getting my visa in my hand with a week to spare.
