Christianbook.com are deceptive crooks! I would never order anything from this company again! They automatically enroll you in a rewards program for 16.95 a month and begin billing your credit card. Luckily for me my card blocked the transaction because so many people have this problem with Christianbook.com. However they continue to try to bill my card even after several emails to them stating that I never intended on joining any rewards program and I want the billing stopped. I went to the BBB to lodge a complaint and they have page after page of people lodging the same complaint against them. Not very Christian of them to be deceptively charging people for an unwanted expensive rewards program!

I had a normal online shopping experience with them. I placed my order, used the free shipping code that was available. My order arrived in a week. I wasn't automatically signed up for membership like other reviewers have stated. I did see the option to, it was a pop up with an immediate $10 off of my current order and automatic sign up. Maybe the people who were signed up didn't read the entire offer. I'll be shopping with them again.

Ordered a necklace from this site using the guest checkout. I got it in the mail the next week. What more could I ask?

I bought Feasting on the Word Commentary for the Year B which is quite expensive and we have bought oftentimes books from Christianbook before as a church. With the last buy I was somehow signed up for a rewards program that charged the church Credit Card $16.95 a month. I first didn't notice that, but my local bank did! and thought it was suspicious and blocked the card. When I called them, the costumer service was not in a good mood, they told me they can't send me anything that proves that I signed up, but they can cancel it. I insisted on a refund and they agreed. That was the last time we ordered through them. I mean what does this reward program even do?!

The cost is to much and the shipping and handling is way to much. Another problem I have is they sell and promote false teachers Bill Johnson, steven furtick, Joyce Meyer, T.D. Jake's ect. I would give it no stars if I could. I would never recommend it and unless they stop selling these and others I will speak out against them.

I bought an ebook that was advertised as an ePub, assuming I could read it on my Kindle or a reader of my choice. It turns out that you don't own the book and can only read it on their chosen platforms, despite paying the price of an actual book.

I bought two bibles for my boys. I was somehow signed up for a rewards program that charged my credit card $16.95 a month for six straight months. I had to call in to cancel the rewards program. No offer of a refund. The bibles cost $49.00. It looks like I donated over $100.00 to Christian Book. Very deceptive practice. I won't buy anything from them again.

I bought a Bible and then discovered they automatically sign you up for a monthly 16.95 membership. There was NO sign up by me! When you visit the site there is NO cancel membership option. When you talk to them they act like its your fault but when you visit BBB and review sites this SCAM is hitting everyone.
